Absolutely gorgeous cottage.
Absolutely gorgeous cottage. Beautifully presented and equipped with real quality throughout. Wonderful location with access to the Tay through spendid woodland without going near a road, with raptors calling through the trees, and all the amenities of Dunkeld and surrounds at your fingertips. The only slight disappointment was the absence of a safe route into town for kids and bikes (which involves 3km on a fast country road). A small point, though, that didn't detract from a lovely family holiday. The best self-catering cottage we've found, by some margin. Well done! Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

The cottage is in a lovely setting with full access to the owners grounds.
The cottage is in a lovely setting with full access to the owners grounds. Accepting the age of the cottage, the decor and some furnishings were, however, looking rather tired which prompted the value for money score. The location of the cottage suited us perfectly with lovely walks along the river Tay to be had, accessed through the grounds or the adjoining lane. We had a fantastic holiday.
We had a fantastic holiday. We had everything and more that we needed to relax. Our teenage boys are both studying for their exams and they had the plenty space and peace to study in the mornings, allowing us time in the afternoon to explore and evenings to cook and eat nice food together, play games, cards and watch movies. Only one negative was the upstairs toilet was a bit wobbly so may need some attention. The weather was wonderful so we enjoyed plenty of walks right on our doorstep in the beautiful autumn colours. We saw lots of wildlife locally and of course enjoyed Big Tree Country - it’s impossible not too. The cottage is in the perfect location to visit many spectacular walks and for exploring Highland Perthshire. We were given a comfortable, warm welcome and enjoyed the peace. Being able to bring our pup with us was the icing on the cake and he loved his wee holiday too. We would love to come back and hope to do so!
