The location was perfect - very close to everything - the accommodation had everyone you from the kitchen utensils to extra coats and additional dog lead . Ample space for a large family or friends . Lovely shops and pubs nearby . Would highly recommend this property to be anyone

Great location, village, shops, pubs and bus stop all a few mins walk.

Great location, village, shops, pubs and bus stop all a few mins walk. House is well equipped and well furnished with comfortable furniture and beds. Could do with a lick of paint in places but it in no detracted from a great time. Very responsive and helpful owners when we had an issue with the hot water this was resolved swiftly. Would recommend this property.

Windermere Stay

We stayed as two families- 2 adults and 2 kids each. Plenty of space for kids to sit and play while adults had another lounge area. We all ate together as the table was big enough and kitchen was quite frankly the best equipped kitchen we have had on any rental before! Bathrooms plentiful and bedrooms perfect. All within 30 metres of the town and shops. Perfect base for exploring the lake, surrounding towns or walking/climbing. We will definitely be back! (The last photo is one of many items sold in the bakery not 30 metres from the front door!)

This is a great cottage for a family holiday if you expect to be out and about all day and the home

This is a great cottage for a family holiday if you expect to be out and about all day and the home just provides a base for evening meals and rest. It's not luxurious, but we didn't expect that for the price; it is really comfortable, well equipped and clean, with lots of hot water - perfect value for money. We had no problem with parking (October half term) and proximity to the town was really handy. There isn't a garden space, just a small patio, but again if you don't expect to be in all day this doesn't matter.

We had a wonderful family weekend and will return.

We had a wonderful family weekend and will return. The only comment I would make is that it would have been nice if the cottage had had a few sticks and logs for the first night. We took our own so it wasn’t a problem but other guests might not. Otherwise a fantastic house in a great location. Local car park in close proximity made parking easier.
