Such a great property in a beautiful location.
Such a great property in a beautiful location. Wonderfully decorated & well appointed, Sands Farm has everything you need. It’s warm and comfortable with the reassurance of the owners being available if you need them, but they completely respect your privacy to let you enjoy your holiday. Gorgeous views over the valley and a feeling of peaceful remoteness, but within five minutes in the car you have access to shops, eateries, pubs, takeaways and lovely walks on the canal towpaths. Great part of West Yorkshire - you can travel to plenty of places including Hebden Bridge or Howarth to enjoy a day out. We had snow when we were there so it was a treat to snuggle up in front of the log burner. This cottage is an absolute credit to its owners and we cannot wait to return.

Another fantastic stay at Sands Farm Cottage.
Another fantastic stay at Sands Farm Cottage. Perched up on the valley side there are beautiful views to be enjoyed, yet you are only minutes away by car from a selection of shops, pubs, restaurants & takeaways. We enjoyed walking the towpaths along the canal side and so did our dog. There are plenty of places to visit too as Hebden Bridge, Halifax and Haworth are all in easy reach by car. The cottage is beautiful, the best equipped we have ever stayed in, you will want for nothing. Warm, comfortable and relaxing it’s a joy to spend time in. High quality linens & towels, a fantastic set up in the kitchen plus a lovely log burner is the centre piece of the living room, making for cosy nights. A lovely welcome pack which includes fresh flowers, chocolate, wine & even milk is a generous touch. Thanks again to Alan, Sally & Eddie who are the perfect hosts - there if you need them but they will leave you in peace to enjoy your break. We’re already booked again for next year and we’re counting down the days.
This property is beautiful, nicer even than the photos suggest. Everything about it is high quality and it has everything you could need. Kitchen well equipped with large fridge and freezer (so you can stock up on frozen groceries if you need). There is a utility area with sinks, washing machine, dryer. The bed rooms are comfortable and roomy. There are two large bathrooms - one with a bath and shower and the other, an en-suite to one of the bedrooms, with a shower. Also a downstairs toilet room. The views around the property were beautiful and there are lots of walks from the front door. There is a patio and surrounding garden for your personal use.
Alan and Sally were lovely and helpful without being intrusive. Perfect hosts in every way.
We absolutely loved it and will definitely stay again the next chance we get.
