Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. Eldin Hall Cottages are set in a peaceful area and have been added more recently to the restored old Victorian waterworks. The four cottages have their own enclosed decked patios with garden furniture, and The Gatehouse has its own enclosed private lawned garden. There is also a shared garden with a fantastic play area for the children. The owners, who just 10 minutes away, will be there to greet guests whenever possible, and are available any time to provide information and assistance when it is required.
Situated between Cayton and Cayton Bay, the cottages are an ideal base to visit the east coast, North York Moors and the Yorkshire Wolds. The beach at Cayton Bay is less than a mile away (2 miles by road) and just a little further up the coast is the popular seaside town of Scarborough. The resorts of Filey, Flamborough Head and Bridlington are just a short drive away. The walks along the clifftops are spectacular and form part of the Cleveland Way walk. The RSPB bird sanctuary at Bempton Cliffs attracts visitors from worldwide and is just a short drive from the cottages. Here you can see puffins, kittiwakes and lots of other migrating seabirds. Not to be missed during your stay (as it’s always voted as one of the top ten cities to visit) is the wonderful city of York which is less than an hour away by car, or the train is direct from Scarborough. Beach 1 mile (2 miles by road). Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
The Gatehouse (ref UK2482), Cottage One (ref UK2483), Cottage Two (ref UK2484), Cottage Three (ref W4347) and Cottage Four (ref W4348) can be booked together to accommodate up to 21 guests.

Comfortable accommodation in a very peaceful area . Welcome pack for the dogs a nice touch and a pint of milk and tea and coffee always helpful . The cottage owner Yvonne sent an email to say she probably wouldn’t be there to welcome us but hoped we enjoyed our stay .

Our second visit and I know there will be a third. The cottage isn’t the biggest but it is perfectly formed. Great position for exploring the area. Cayton beech is a sleep decent into but it is excellent for the dogs.
