For shopaholics, Harrogate with both high street and high end fashion, is about half an hour’s drive. The lively village of Grassington, with its summer arts festival which plays host to famous musicians, singers, comedians, poets and general entertainers, is just over 3 miles away, and in winter holds the Dickensian Festival to get you in the Christmas spirit. There is literally something to do for everyone. Shops 3 miles, pub 150 yards, restaurant 200 yards.
