Very nice cottage, clean, warm and comfortable.
Very nice cottage, clean, warm and comfortable. Well equipped, has Sky TV package, and a dishwasher ideal for a relaxing break. Unfortunately very close to the road which is noisy, however this makes an ideal location to travel from, and the pub is just across the road. Sherwood Forest and The Major Oak is within walking distance. Two car parking spaces outside the house. A lot to recommend this cottage.
Cottage and yard dog friendly. Accomodation was extremely well presented and deserved its 5 star rating. all facilities in Edwinstowe easily reached on foot. Would recommend staying at Robins Nest.

Robins Nest is absolutely beautiful accomodation.
Robins Nest is absolutely beautiful accomodation. The location is just superb. In a beautiful village with so many options for drinks and meals. Lovely pub the Dukeries directly across the road, always busy. The short walk to Sherwood Forest Visitor centre, for amazing walks and cycling options. The accomodation itself is spotlessly clean, everything you would need from cleaning products, to some toiletries, tea coffee etc and some condiments. Everything is super comfy, beds, sofa chairs. Tara really has gone the extra mile to provide a beautiful holiday home to share. Two parking spaces with the accomodation and a beautiful courtyard to sit out in. Highly recommend and will be back - thank you for sharing this beautiful space.
Property really well fitted out, warm and comfortable. Only issues were:Bed in main bedroom - way too soft. I like a firm mattress but even medium is ok. But this sunk a foot as soon as you sat on it.Outside lighting - fell over the slight step in the back yard about 3 times before I made sure to use a torch.
Great place to stay, clean and very well equipped and great decor. Nice little courtyard outside to sit. Would definitely recommend and stay again when in the area. Edwinstowe lovely little village with plenty of places to eat out
We stayed with our dog for a long weekend and found the property to be welcoming (thanks for the wine, biscuits and dog treats!) with a lot of attention paid to the small things that make a stay great. For example, storing an extension lead with the hairdryer so you can see a mirror while drying your hair. The location of Robin's Nest is superb - you can easily walk to Sherwood Forest and you are surrounded by pubs, restaurants, shops and takeaways, all within walking distance. The small patio garden is very secure which was great for the dog, and there are several other attractions a very short drive away. Highly recommended
Could not fault the accommodation, absolutely beautiful, spotlessly clean, a pub opposite and a Chinese next door, it was perfect!! I would definitely love to stay again.

Tara is a wonderful host and responded quickly to questions and came to the rescue straight away when we checked in & were having trouble with the door!
The cottage is just gorgeous and has recently been redecorated so everything is incredibly clean and comfortable!
Location is perfect with many options for food & a small co-op very close by and of course Sherwood Forest is just up the road!
Cannot recommend enough & would definitely stay again if we were in the area again!

A pub across the road, Chinese takeaway 2 doors down, within walking distance of Sherwood Forest, what more could you want?

Very lovely property in a great location with plenty to do around the area.
Very lovely property in a great location with plenty to do around the area.
The only downsides we found was the shower was in need of repair as you can see its been leaking for a while as the wood around the outside was mouldy along with the silicone coming away inside to reveal more mould. The gate which allows you entry to the property was very awkward to open as it gets stuck but was surprised other people had mentioned this but nothing has been done yet to rectify. The main door can be temperamental at times to open as the only way to open this, is with a key which my wife found nearly impossible.
Apart from this we had a great time and are already thinking of coming back to the property next year for another break.

This was an absolutely fabulous little place to stay.
This was an absolutely fabulous little place to stay. The only (very slight) criticism I have, is that it is on quite a busy main route through the village so there’s a bit of traffic noise, however this has its plus side as it is literally next door to a Chinese takeaway, and opposite a pub.
The place is spotless and better equipped than my actual home. Every little detail has been thought of to make your stay perfect. Would highly recommend. ?
