This is the perfect base from which to enjoy south Devon and its myriad attractions including beaches and the wild expanse of Dartmoor.. Ground Floor:

Higher Tor Cottages are situated in quiet location just outside the small village of East Ogwell, near Newton Abbot, within the owners’ 17-acre grounds. Robin Cottage (ref UKC3436) and Swift Cottage (ref UKC3435) are both detached properties and have their own lawned gardens. They are decorated and furnished to a very good standard, and each have an open plan kitchen, living room and dining room. Perfect for families and for friends as both properties can be booked individually or together to accommodate up to 8 guests.
The properties have lovely views across the Devon countryside, and are situated close to many places of interest. Dartmoor is a short car ride, take a trip and walk the Tors, see the ponies and stop in one of the many cafés for a fabulous Devon cream tea. For the more energetic, there is Go Ape at Haldon, or for keen cyclists there is an amazing cycle path through the Haldon Forest, all off road. Take a trip to the seaside, visit Teignmouth or Shaldon, both having sandy beaches. There are lots of National Trust properties to visit. Torquay has lots to offer visitors including Kent’s Cavern, Living Coasts, theatre and boat trips to Brixham. If you fancy a flutter, there are two race tracks, one at Exeter and the other at Newton Abbot. There are also many shops and restaurants all close by. Beach 8 miles. Shop 1 mile.
