Superb views. Ideally located in the heart of one of the Lake District’s most popular towns, Skiddaw View provides the ideal base from which to explore Keswick and the surrounding lakes and fells. Skiddaw View has been completely redecorated throughout in April 2018 with new curtains and some furnishings, new bedding, linen and towels and with lovely artwork on the walls of beautiful local scenes. Stretching over the first and second floors, with superb views from the second floor bedrooms, this family holiday apartment is a haven for walkers and outdoor enthusiasts alike.
Keswick boasts a unique mixture of tea rooms, restaurants and bars, as well as a selection of gift shops and boutiques. There are also a few museums if you are looking to feed your curiosity. Have you ever wondered where poets such as Wordsworth and Coleridge took their inspiration? Well, come and see for yourself! Perhaps a leisurely drive over the Whinlatter Pass will spark your inner poet. Not forgetting Beatrix Potter, who also used the beautiful landscapes that surround Skiddaw View for her popular book series. You will soon know why.
