A lovely stay
We had a very enjoyable week. The property is well furnished and comfortable - a couple of points to note: there isn't a washing machine in the apartment and there are no independent heating controls (assume the heating is controlled from the main house?). Neither of these things affected our stay. The gardens are beautiful and a real bonus. The property provides a great base for getting to Sidmouth, Seaton and Lyme Regis and there is a great pub 'The Tucker's Arms' within a short drive. Would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely stay in a very comfortable apartment. What made it special for us was the beautiful gardens the apartment was set in. We were free to explore these at our leisure and, as a bonus, there was a lovely tearoom on site as well. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We stayed at Gardener's Rest as a convenient base while visiting an elderly relative in sheltered accommodation nearby, and loved it there. It's spacious and comfortable, and set in beautiful gardens which we explored, it's very peaceful and has no street-lights nearby, there's a good tea-room in the gardens and an excellent pub a short drive (or walk) away, and there are good opportunities to explore the countryside along pleasant lanes and footpaths. The decor of the apartment has a somewhat dated feel but that made us feel right at home! Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo
