Superb spot for a North Norfolk break
This cottage was booked for my 40th birthday as a way of fitting everyone I wanted in one place. It delivered everything we could want from a week's Norfolk cottage break. Good points (in no particular order) Communications with owner were brilliant. Steve was responsive and thoughtful, way above and beyond the usual; WIFI *Excellent (Teenagers very happy and some emergency zoom work conversations did not wobble once) - One could definitely work from here if needed (but why would you when you have such a lovely holiday spot!); House well able to cope with 10 people sleeping and entertaining, and car parking out front that comfortably got 6/7 cars on; Lovely back garden, ideal* spot for star gazing as the village is dark at night; 2 miles from Holt and super close to the best bit of the Nortfolk coastal area (Cley/Blakeney/Morston Quay/ Wells/ Wiverton Down/ Gladford etc); House really livable in - ie, it is clean and well laid out but you don't feel like you have to tiptoe around or be precious about things (no yelling at the teenagers to watch themselves) - Makes it ideal for families with dogs; the advert doesn't lie when it boasts about a well equipped kitchen - It really has everything you could need; We had older kids but it was noted how well this would work for younger people as well. There were toys and games and books suitable for keeping even the most distractable small person entertained; OH THE BOOKS! The bookshelves are absolutely filled with delights suitable for all tastes from cooking to history to novels, all reading catered for! Things to note (again in no particular order) The fires are massive and if you want them both on in the evening you will (in November) burn easily through £100 wood in a week. We limited ourselves to one living room and still spent £55 on wood!; If you have dogs then the back garden is lovely but it isn't fully enclosed and small furry escape artists will soon find their way into the fields or the neighbours - garden-time is on the lead only!; Futher if booking with dogs the road is fast and full of 4x4 drivers and there are limited paths. Walks best planned to start a little drive away for which there are endless possibilities. In summary this cottage is absolutely worth the cost. Well located, well furnished, well presented, suitable for families or larger gatherings of friends. We will be back! THANK YOU STEVE, we had a really fab week!!

Lovely character property in rural North Norfolk
Excellent property, bags of character, handily located in North Norfolk. Only thing missing was a local pub.
