About the host
Hosted by Jan

I live in Hamble with my daughter and work as a business consultant. We have lived in Hamble for 25 years . We love to walk, ski and generally spend time outdoors. We have an extended family which includes a dog and a cat.
Why they chose this property
I purchased this cottage in 2011 as a rental property. We lived here for a year whilst our home was being rennovated. and really enjoyed the house. I have recently decided to let the cottage as a holiday home (rather than renting it out) as it is a lovely location and a lovely garden. It was fully refurbished in June 2018.
What makes this property unique
Close to the centre of Hamble Village and all of the Hamble Marinas.
Hamble is a old village steeped in History, close to Southampton, Portsmouth and provides great access to the Central south coast area, IOW and the New Forest.
The village has a plethora of good pubs and eateries. Go crabbing on the foreshore, or walk through to the Victoria Country park or the Strawberry Trail up to Manor Farm Country park. Walk to the famous Jolly Sailor pub for lunch. Take the little pink ferry to Warsash.
The beaches of Lee on Solent, Hayling Island and the Witterings are a short drive (around 30 mins).
There is a wealth of things to do for you and your family.
