About the host
Hosted by Laurence & Dominique

Laurence is an engineer and Dominique is a teacher and mental health therapist. This has been our family's second home since 1978. We have spent many precious weekends and holidays in Mid Wales.
Why they chose this property
The bungalow dates from around 1920. It was completely refurbished during 2012 and 2017: a new roof, new windows, new wiring, plumbing, central heating, extensive insulating and (fireproof) cladding with cedar weatherboard as well as a new garage/ utility room and self-contained studio.
What makes this property unique
The bungalow is very spacious, light and comfortable. All ceilings and walls are wood which makes for a cosy feel! The bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen/diner have a laminate floor whereas the living room is carpeted. The house has all the 'mod cons' but has retained a lot of the original features. It is located in a quiet area but is not isolated: the village and shops are less than 5 minutes' drive away. Its main attractions without a doubt are the views over the Cambrian Mountains at the back of the property (East), its large, fenced garden and its proximity to the golf course, the dunes and the beach. The front of the property (West) has some sea view and benefits from some stunning sunsets.
It really is ideal for families who enjoy walking, swimming, kite flying, bodyboarding or just chilling on the beach.
