Ellingham Cottages er beliggende i den smukke sogn St. Martins i den sydøstlige del af øen. Vi er kun to miles fra den maleriske havneby St. Peter Port og alligevel perfekt beliggende for nem adgang til sydkystens klipper og bugter. Vores nærmeste strand er Moulin Huet, som blev fanget i en række vidunderlige oliemalerier af kunstneren Renoir under sit ophold i 1883. Herfra deltage i de smukke klippestier for en spadseretur med fantastisk udsigt og adgang til mange andre bugter.

Der er også et udvalg af gode restauranter, barer, lokale butikker og supermarkeder inden for kort gåafstand fra The Ellingham Cottages. Busforbindelsen er kun få minutters gang væk og giver en fremragende service - herunder den altid populære ø-cirkulære rute samt den hurtige rejse til St Peter Port.

Les cottages sont modernes, confortables, bien chauffés et bien équipés. La situation est idéale, près des commerces, de l'arrêt de bus qui conduit à St Peter Port et des promenades magnifiques de la cote sud. L'accueil est parfait. Un bémol : deux cottages, dont le notre, sont moins bien orientés, avec le salon donnant sur l'allée en gravier et les entrées des premiers cottages.

Simon has family connections with the Channel Islands and spent many happy holidays on the Bailiwick of Guernsey as a child. We moved to Guernsey nearly 15 years ago and now have two children. As a family, we love the relaxed, safe and fun environment that is Guernsey - and would love to share it with you!!

Why they chose this property

There are 12 cottages set in the peaceful holiday complex of The Ellingham Cottages, with 10 cottages being two bedroom cottages. Whilst these cottages are usually offered for weekly stays starting on either a Saturday or Sunday, there are occasions when a short break is available, or for a stay starting on an alternative day of the week. By booking this listing, you will be allocated one of the lovely standard, or superior two-bedroom cottages that we have on offer.

Each two bedroom cottage is fully equipped and has an outside area (many cottages have two outdoor areas, both front and back!) in which to enjoy outdoor relaxing. There is also a good-size shared garden at the rear of the complex. The garden is ideal for relaxing in with plenty of places to sit and eat and enjoy a BBQ, a selection of outdoor games for the family to enjoy, children's toys, goal post, wendy house and plenty of space to kick a ball around.

What makes this property unique

There is a selection of great restaurants, bars, local shops and supermarkets within short walking distance of The Ellingham Cottages. The bus service is only a few minutes walk away and provides an excellent service - including the ever-popular island-circular route, plus the quick journey into St Peter Port.Our nearest beach is Moulin Huet which was captured in a series of wonderful oil paintings by the artist Renoir during his stay in 1883. From here join the beautiful cliff paths for a stroll with stunning views and access to numerous other bays.The Ellingham Cottages also has a Guest Library stocked with books, magazines, games, beach items and DVDs. There are also lots of pamphlets, maps, suggested walks and cycle routes and other information. You will be welcomed on arrival and shown to your cottage. Inside will be a small welcome pack of locally-sourced groceries so that you can enjoy a light snack before heading off to explore. We also provide a mid-week spruce up , whereby we give the apartment a quick clean and provide a clean set of fresh towels.
