La p'tite maison: independent house in a village near Caen. The "little house" is located at the entrance of the property with private access on a path, and access from the garden. It has private and closed parking. The house is bordered by a wooden terrace extended by a lawned and planted garden, with a portico, sun loungers, a garden furniture and a barbecue.
Upon arrival, the beds are ready. We provide you with bathroom and table linen.
WIfi Internet access is free.

Great little cottage near to Caen and the D Day Landing Beaches

Just returned from a wonderful weeks stay at La P'tite Maison. Catherine and Didier were fabulous hosts, very friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. We had the surprise of a bottle of cider, 4 home made macaroons and a jar of homemade jam to greet us, all very yummy. The accommodation was spotless and everything was provided to make our stay enjoyable. Parking was easy behind a locked gate and there was a garden with outside furniture and swing. Caen and the D Day landing beaches were all within a 30 minute drive on relatively quiet roads and the village had a boulangerie within a 5 minute walk of the property and a Carrefour supermarket 10 minutes away by car which supplied everything you needed without having to drive into Caen. Opposite the property was a delicious pizza and beef burger takeaway, very popular with the locals so you need to book your food earlier in the day if you wish secure your meal. This is ideal for couples, in a very quiet location, with little or no traffic noise. Highly recommended, we can't wait to go back and enjoy another amazing holiday and meet up again with Catherine and Didier who speak very good English.

Een net huisje en een fijn ontvangst, niets op aan te merken! Bij vragen werden wij vriendelijk te woord gestaan en verder geholpen. Helaas hebben wij niet goed in de gaten gehad dat het huisje kort aan een rotonde ligt. Ook hebben wij het open concept van het huisje niet goed doorgehad waardoor wij, 2 volwassenen en 2 tieners, weinig privacy hadden en niet konden terug trekken.

A different Normandy

According to Catherine, we were the first English to stay at the property. Presumably most Brits come to Normandy to see the Beaches and WW2 memorials. But there's so much more - and the very comfortable and well equipped la P'tite Maison provides an excellent base to visit towns like Bayeux, Caen and Falaise (with memories of conquests 900 years earlier), and attractive countryside like the Suisse Normande. Give it a try: we recommend it!

It was very good choice. First of all the location is very good, in the small quiet village, so you will be mainly disturbed only by the hoots of owls. Very good bakery about 2-3 hundreds meters and takeaway pizzeria about one hundreds meters. The village located very conveniently to go by car to East to Etretat/Deauville/Trouville/Rouen and to West to Mont-Saint-Michel. Surprisingly Caen which is couple kilometers away also turned up to be very pleasant city. At the kitchen you will have everything you need. Appartement is quite stylish and spacy. Beds and linen are perfect. Internet is a bit slow and is getting very slow when 2-3 person try to use it simultaneously. But from our experience we rarely have seen better internet quality in appartments in France, so it is not the problem. And for sure Catherine and Didier are very friendly and helpful hosts and very nice persons:) We have received immediate help with all our questions. So, if to summarize our impressions this appartment is very good choice according to price/quality criteria and could be 100% recommended. Отличный вариант. Отдельный трехуровневый домик со всем необходимым. Тихо. Удобная логистика как до Этрета, Онфлера, Довилля, Руана, так и до Мон-Сен-Мишеля. Близко булочная и пиццерия. Ухают совы, видели оленей и барсука, который перебежал дорогу. Хозяева отличные, во всем помогают, говорят по английски. Интернет не очень, но во Франции везде так. В общем, отличный вариант.

Un acceuil chaleureux

Die Gastgeber Catheríne und.Didier empfingen uns "vraiment chaleureux" mit viel Lachen, selbstgemachter Marmelade , Macarons und einem gut gekühlten cidre im Kühlschrank.Die Ferienwohnung ist mit sehr gutem Geschmack gemütlich eingerichtet und sehr gut ausgestattet. Wir fühlten uns sofort wohl und gut aufgenommen. Die Wohnung liegt ruhig am Land ist jedoch ein günstiger Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge an die Küste , aber auch ins Hinterland. Es war perfekt !

A Warm & Wonderful Stay at la p'tite maison!

We absolutely loved our 2 week stay at La P'tit Maison just 10 minutes outside Caen! The gite was spotless (cleanliness is important to me), spacious, and very well equipped. We like to cook most our meals and found the kitchen had everything we needed. There were beautiful antiques in the gite that gave it character but with all modern amenities and a very comfortable bed. We felt right at home. The location was excellent and made for easy access to the beaches of Normandy, culture of Caen and Bayeux, and day trips to surrounding beau villages. There is easy access to biking (they made bicycles available for our use!) and hiking trails right from your front door, and a great boulangerie is a short walk away. Last, but certainly not least, the hosts were absolutely fantastic making us feel like beloved family. Their English was excellent and they helped us understand a bit more about French language and the local culture. Catherine et Didier are warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. Their input and guidance proved critical for making our stay so wonderful. We definitely want to return and would recommend this lovely private home for your trip to Normandy too.

Schönes Domizil, gute Austattung, ruhig, großer Gartenanteil im umzäunten Garten, gesicherter Autostellplatz im Garten, funktionierender Ofen (neben der Heizung), freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieter. Für Ältere gewöhnungsbedürftig die Wendeltreppe in die beiden höheren Stockwerke und Toilette nur im 1. Stock. War aber alles bekannt.

Un séjour très agréable

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour chez Catherine et Didier Lemaitre. Nous sommes restés une semaine. Nous avons été très bien accueillis. La p'tite maison est très propre, très bien équipée, pleine de charme avec le petit jardin attenant. Tout est fait pour qu'on s'y sente comme chez soi. L'endroit est calme et reposant. Bien situé car à proximité de Caen et pratique pour visiter les alentours. On a juste envie d'y revenir ! Je ne peux donc que conseiller cet endroit plein de charme. Geschmackvoll

Wir haben die für 3-4 Personen gedachte Ferienwohnung als Familie mit 5 Personen zwei Wochen lang bewohnt und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung liegt in einem Dorf mit gutem Bäcker 10 km südlich von Caen, Supermärkte sind im Nachbarort. Die Ausstattung ist wie beschrieben sehr gut und auch geschmackvoll, die Wohnung ist sauber und schön. Im EG befinden sich Küche-Wohnbereich, im 1. OG (halboffen) Doppelbett, WC sowie Bad mit Dusche und im 2. OG ein weiteres Doppelbett. Im Garten kann ein Grill und Tisch und Stühle genutzt werden. Die Vermieter haben uns sehr nett empfangen, sie haben in der Wohnung sehr reichliches Informationsmaterial (Infoordner sowie Flyer). Wir haben uns sehr gut erholt. Ich kann den Besuch weiterempfehlen und überlege auch selbst dort nochmals hinzufahren.

Simplement parfait

Arrivée pour un séjour long, j'ai posé ma valise dans cette petite maison aménagée et décorée avec goût. Rien ne manque à notre confort tant à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur. Le logement est indépendant et intime et il suffit de traverser le jardin pour trouver Catherine et Didier, les propriétaires, accueillants et tellement serviables. Situé à quelques minutes de Caen, l'endroit est idéal pour profiter de la côte, visiter Bayeux et profiter de la ville. De plus, Feuguerolles est un bourg calme pour profiter pleinement de moments de repos. A choisir sans hésiter...

Lovely Home and VIEW

This is a lovely large property across the street from the ocean. The master suite is on the first floor. Although we didn't go in the water, because the air was too cold, not the water, we took many long walks on the beach and in the neighborhood! The house was clean and well equipped. The owner was very responsive and communicated well! I definitely would recommend this property and so would our friends and relatives who came to visit! Although we previously lived in Rhode Island for 27 years, we did find a great restaurant called 10 Cousins ( we went there 3 times in our 11 days) and bought " free range coffee" . The Barn is also a great breakfast place. We also saw friends and family in Providence, RI and Boston, MA, which are great for days trips. All in all, we had a wonderful time and would return again!!

Di gran lunga la casa più bella in cui abbiamo soggiornato durante il nostro viaggio di 4 settimane in Francia! Catherine e Didier sono due persone squisite che vi faranno sentire davvero a casa (l'accoglienza è stata davvero ottima!). La casa è provvista di tutto il necessario per un soggiorno nel massimo comfort ed è curata nei minimi dettagli con un ottimo buon gusto! Eccellente pulizia! Posizione molto tranquilla, comodo parcheggio all'interno della proprietà. Assolutamente da consigliare!

Week-end très agréable à "la p'tite maison"

De passage dans la région pour un mariage, nous nous sommes installés à la p'tite maison. Nous avons découvert un gîte très confortable, de qualité et joliment décoré. Il y a tout l'équipement nécessaire. On se sent chez soi tout de suite. Accueil chaleureux et petits cadeaux de bienvenue : cidre normand, confiture et macarons maison (délicieux!). Une adresse à retenir! et à conseiller! Allez y sans hésiter...

Nous avons passé un WE très agréable dans cette petite maison où tout est fait pour le confort des vacanciers (très bien équipée, literie très confortable...). Le descriptif correspond entièrement à ce que nous avons trouvé, sans parler de l'accueil des propriétaires qui est très chaleureux : nous avons eu le plaisir de trouver le poele allumé à notre arrivée, des macarons et confiture faits maison nous attendaient également, bouteille de cidre au frigo, petit bouquet de fleurs du jardin... Enfin, à réserver sans hésitation !!

"Kleines Haus" ganz groß

Wir haben als Familie mit zwei erwachsenen Töchtern 2 wunder volle Urlaubswochen in der Normandie verbracht. Das Haus ist groß, hervorragend ausgestattet und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Unsere Gastgeber Catherine und Didier haben uns ganz herzlich empfangen und waren sehr um unser Wohl bemüht. Wir haben uns als ihre Gäste wirklich wohl gefühlt. Die Tage sind mit Wandern, Besichtigungen und Sport wie im Flug vergangen.Wir können das "kleine" große Haus nur weiterempfehlen.

The Best Place To Stay In Normandy!

If you are looking for a spotlessly clean, spacious, modern, comfortable and charming place to stay, you will find it in la P'tite Maison. The location is perfect for exploring the region and for visiting the sights, cities and points of interest of Normandy. Then, at the end of the day, it is a pleasure to return "home" and prepare a delicious meal in the fully equipped kitchen. The owners, Catherine and Didier, are an absolute delight. They are warm, friendly and extremely helpful, not to mention the delicious goodies they left as a welcoming gift. We had a wonderful time here and would highly recommend it as a great place to stay.

sfeervol, compleet huis

We hebben genoten van de gastvrije ontvangst. Heerlijk om een eigen huis te hebben, dat van alle gemakken is voorzien, inclusief een mooie tuin. De woning was schoon en er was veel informatie te vinden over de omgeving. D eigenaren toonden zich zeer bereid ook tips over de omgeving te geven. Het enige minpunt is dat de wifi slecht bereik had.

Excellent séjour dans la p'tite maison!

Une petite maison dans laquelle il fait bon vivre! Le gîte est décoré avec goût et bien équipé. Nous avons également pu profiter de la terrasse et du jardin pour dîner, bouquiner ou nous adonner à la pratique du badminton. Nous avons été accueilli chaleureusement par Catherine et Didier: macarons, confitures maison, bouteille de cidre au frais... Sans compter leurs conseils avisés. Cette maison bénéficie d'une localisation avantageuse : le calme de la campagne avec la proximité des axes routiers principaux! En 10 minutes on se retrouve sur le périphérique de Caen et on accède alors facilement aux plages du débarquement et la côte de nacre ou bien à la côte fleurie avec les non moins célèbres Deauville Trouville ou Cabourg. En bref un très bon choix pour des vacances en Normandie !
