About this property

Finca Carrulo with private pool for 6 people and fantastic views

It is an Andalusian cortijo type renovated and expanded to enjoy its charm without sacrificing the comforts and luxuries of today.

Finca Carrulo can accommodate 6 people and impresses with its original decoration. In the living room there is a traditional Andalusian fireplace, satellite TV and 2 sofas. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a dining table. From the kitchen we have access to a totally private balcony, which is an ideal place for meals or to relax and enjoy the breathtaking views of the mountains and the coast. The house is completed with 3 bedrooms, 2 with a double bed and 1 with 2 single beds and 2 bathrooms, one with a shower and the other with a bath and shower.

NEW: As of November 2018, all bedrooms and the living room have air conditioning.

In the area outside the private pool with terrace and barbecue. A perfect place to enjoy a bath or rest in the sun.

Finca Carrulo is located 4 km away from the town of Cómpeta. The whole road is paved, only the last approximately 100 m are quite steep, but it can be done without problems with a normal car.

Competa offers us: several small supermarkets, bakery, fruit and vegetable shop, restaurants, bars, pharmacies, medical center, dentist, internet cafe, souvenir shops, tourism information and much more.

The view!

My family and I stayed 9 nights, arriving late on a Friday night by car from Malaga airport. Gladly we met the host, Martina at an office in Competa, whom we followed to the property. The Finca is absolutely beautiful with the most wonderful 360 degree views. We enjoyed breakfasts on the kitchen terrace and lunches/ dinners on the front terrace and by the pool. A fantastic rural location for a most peaceful and relaxing holiday. We did feel however that the property lacked a couple of basic necessities: Hair dryer, bbq utensils and perhaps a bottle of drinking water for late arrivals. Overall a great experience.

Tranquil, dramatic setting; perfect base for exploring the Competa area

This villa is perfect for the ultimate getaway. Quiet, secluded and perched on steep hillside it has views all around; breakfast with sunrise over the mountains and evenings with the shimmering Med. The house was ideal for our children, loads of space and a great pool. We are coming back!
