The 75 m² apartment composed of 2 rooms is spacious and bright. Its entrance is large and serves the 2 large rooms, the living/dining room and the bedroom. It is located on the 5th floor with lift (suitable for 3 people: 225 kg) in the Quartier des Musiciens in the town centre of Nice very close to shops.
The assets of this apartment are its location in a quiet area, its proximity to the sea and the heart of the town centre (10 minutes on foot from the beaches and the pedestrian area and 5 minutes from the central train station), its reserved space in a fenced underground car park in front of the building, its 25 m² terrace that considerably stretches the living space and that opens onto the living/dining room and the balcony opening onto the kitchen, the very nice layout of the living/dining room and its brightness.
The drawbacks of this apartment in which it is very pleasant to live are: the bathroom and the kitchen even if they have the necessary equipment (induction hob, oven, microwave, refrigerator with 3-drawer freezer, dishwasher and washing machine) that are a bit old-fashioned.
It is fitted to comfortably sleep 4 people: 140 cm double bed in the bedroom and 2 new sofa-beds in the living/dining room that can be separated by a screen.
The sheets and the bath linen are not provided

Note: a parking space is provided for free in a fenced underground garage in front of the building where is located the apartment which is worthwhile in the town centre of Nice where it is very difficult to park your car for free. However, to park it is recommended to fold in the wing mirrors because the space is not very big.

This apartment is exactly as it says, as the pictures show. I spent a wonderful seven weeks in the apartment. The jewel is the terrasse but the other rooms - salon, bedroom (very spacious, comfortable bed, quiet) & kichey(fully equipped) - are also excellent. The bathroom, similarly. The apartment is very well situated with easy access to the train station, la Prom & a very good bus service on Gambetta.

Our worst experience withVRBO! Instead of feeling welcome we felt we were an inconvenience. As soon as the cancellation policy expired, we were told no one could let us in to the rental. Despite our concerns the keys were mailed causing horrendous stress as to our accommodations. They came 24 hr before our departure.& we were on our own. Like ourselves the apartment suffered from neglect, light bulbs were missing, no batteries in remote, door knobs falling off & a thorough cleaning was needed. When a problem occurred in the building & access was needed to our apartment there was no direction from the owner we were left to deal with it. Just before our departure, we were informed that it was our responsibility to deliver the keys to an individual in the building. This was to save the owner a trip to Nice & there was no thought as to the inconvenience to us. The word HOST is NOT one to describe these owners……TRULY DISAPPOINTING

Why they chose this property

My parents who recently passed away gave me this apartment. They used to live in this building. They wanted me to live in this apartment that they loved so much. For that purpose, I rent it on a holiday basis to amortise the expenses it causes. Each holiday makes me think about my family story that is still close but unfortunately definitely over.

What makes this property unique

This apartment only has 2 rooms but it is spacious and functionally fitted. Its living space is really pleasant and there is a nice light.
In addition, its beautiful terrace extends the living space where it is pleasant to live, enjoy an aperitif or relax yourself.
The garage, that requires some vigilance to park, is however an asset in this area right in the centre where it is difficult to find a parking space. When you will park your car, I recommend you to fold in the wing mirrors.
