5 of us stayed in the Carmel Hacienda for a significant birthday trip. The house was perfect for our group size and was beautiful and well-appointed with everything we needed (towels, coffee maker, etc.). The view from the deck is lovely - meadow grasses and the beach in the distant background. The courtyard was perfect for evenings. It was a little chilly being October but the heater and available blankets did the trick. We all raved about the comfort and coziness of the beds. The location is great - close enough to walk to town and/or the beach. Communication with host was excellent.

Fantastic home overlooking natural marsh with deer, birds and only short walk away from the beach. Great layout, very comfortable and quick access to shops, restaurants and PCH.

This home was perfect for our family visit to Carmel. Bright and airy with multiple gathering areas. Wonderful views and privacy. Location was amazing- close to town and the beach. The host was helpful and very responsive. Highly recommend this home in a very special setting.

Restful Stay

House is exactly as described. Interior courtyard is a delight. We have stayed in this neighborhood before. If you want to get the Carmel river vibe then this place is for you.

Family weekend

Wonderful property, perfect for a group of six. Clean and well equipped, located in a quiet neighborhood at a walking distance from the beach. We loved spending time on the terrace enjoying the view.

Truly Spectacular

The home is beautiful. The views from the back porch and the third bedroom deck are amazing. The courtyard is incredibly charming. So relaxing and perfect- can't wait to go back

Perfect peaceful stay!

We came with a group for the AT&T pro-am golf tournament and this was an absolutely perfect respite. Communication with Steven was always prompt and the views to the water from the back porch take your breath away. The location is great - easy walking or quick drive to Carmel and right outside the pebble beach gates. Can’t wait to come back!

Weekend with friends

Personal paradise

Glorious Getaway

We loved our time in this home. It is beautiful – clean, modern design, incredible mountain and ocean views, in a great location. There are multiple outdoor gathering spaces, the open kitchen, dining room, and living room are great for cooking and hanging out, and every bed is as comfortable as can be. Very well maintained. We loved our stay and hope to return.

Sisters reunion

Beautiful home! Perfect location!

Beautiful home in a quiet serene location overlooking the meadows surrounding Carmel River Beach. Lots of wildlife to check out-we had a family of deer within a few feet of the deck many mornings and evenings. House is well appointed and has everything you need. We will be back!

Great views and location

This house is unique in that it offers both wonderful coastal views and a 20 mins walk to the plethora of restaurants in Carmel. The house is well maintained with a large deck and central open area. Kitchen and bathroom are in excellent condition. House was spotless.

Great calming view

We've stayed in Carmel from anywhere between 2 weeks and a month at time for the past 35 years. This house was one of our favorites. Spacious, clean and close enough to town to walk home after a great day shopping. The kitchen had everything you could need. Beds were comfortable and plenty of linens. We would stay again

Perfect home, THE location

In Carmel for car week and this home was such a nice place to hang out. Good proximity to all the events, fantastic walking neighborhood, and a nice walk to Ocean avenue restaurants and shops. Best of all, the view inside and out are great. The home has everything we needed as far as cooking tools and laundry. Loved it!

Perfect Carmel House!

We were two couples and all fell in love with this house--very comfortable and well done. The view and location is amazing, Carmel River beach is 5 min walk away and then can walk along the entire shoreline of Carmel, everyday was more beautiful than the day before. I have already recommended this house to numerous friends and will rent again next time in Carmel.

Peaceful

Cozy modern house where we sat and watched the birds, ducks, deer, sunrises, waves and river wildlife. Loved the location for walking to town or beach. Some of the kids rented bikes and rode everywhere. My whole family gave the house and location a thumbs up and we hope to return again soon.

Beautifully Situated

Our family had a wonderful time being together in this home. It was beautifully situated over the Carmel River with deer, ducks, and other water birds right outside the back doors. The sunsets were gorgeous, and we loved watching the waves crash against Carmel River Beach. We also loved being able to walk to the beaches and to Mission Ranch for dinner, and were able to get to town easily. We would definitely stay there again. The home was comfortable and well appointed.
