Charming Victorian Home In Wausau's River Front District!

This beautiful 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom home comfortably sleeps 5. Our home features original hardwood floors, 10 foot ceilings, with an updated kitchen and bathroom. The master bedroom includes a full size bed with a large closet and a window unit air conditioner. The second bedroom provides a twin bed with a small office area. The living room has a comfortable queen sized sofa bed and also has a window unit air conditioner. This charming home also has a large front porch, perfect for relaxing outdoors. The home is located in Wausau's River Front District, just a few blocks from restaurants, bars, a great bakery and historic Downtown Wausau. Within a few blocks of our home you can watch the Wisconsin Woodchuck's play at Athletic Park, launch your kayak in the Wisconsin River, or grab some deep fried cheese curds at the B&R Grill and Swill. In the winter months, enjoy the outdoor ice rink in Downtown Wausau or take a short 10 minute drive to the Granite Peak Ski Area. We feel very fortunate to call the City of Wausau home and look forward to sharing the area with you! No pets and no smoking, please.

Enjoyable Home

First off, pictures don’t do it justice, you won’t find a cleaner and well preserved property no matter how much you spend. There’s nothing fancy here and the price reflects that, but the hosts have made this property a great comfortable stay that’s affordable for a family in town for skiing, water sports or just to get away and enjoy what Wausau has to offer. This will be our number one property when coming back to visit. Thanks again!

Charming house in central location

This is a well renovated older home. There is a kitchen well stocked with dishes, glasses, silverware, etc. Two bedrooms and a bath. The living room is good sized and the furniture comfortable. It was clean and in good condition. We would stay there again.

Got snow renoval service

While we were here, Wausau got 10" of snow. They were prompt coming to snowblow the drive and shovel the walkways. This is a cute house. Plenty of room. We had 5. Close to a couple fun bars too!

OK, It is an old house but it is very comfortable. It is in a central location, just 10 minutes to Granite Peak Ski Resort. Hosts are exceptional. Very quick to respond to questions. Been staying here for years and I am going to book next year's stay after I finish this review.

So Quaint - what a lively home!

This home is special! It was the perfect size for my cousin and I to enjoy a weekend of dining and shopping in Wausau! The original charm of the home - floors, kitchen cabinets, tub, arches, etc. was so cool. The updates made it comfortable - comfortable furniture, mattress, bedding, tv/wifi, parking. Communication with the host was awesome as well! I highly recommend and hope to be back next year!!

Great Little house!

Wonderful house for a weekend stay. We loved the 50s decor and charm. Beds were comfortable, bathroom had a charming medicine cabinet and tiled shower. The owner was very easy to work with and check-in process painless. We will be staying here again!

Clean, cute, off street parking, comfortable beds. Loved the charm. Location was perfect. Close to the river walk and ice arena for hockey. We locked ourselves out and owner responded eithin 15 minites.

Relax by the River district

Absolutely the most well managed Vrbo we have used so far. All of our other experiences have been pleasant, but this was head and shoulders above the rest. Nicely priced and very clean. 👍👍👍

Wedding Night Stay!!!

My now wife and I chose this place during our wedding weekend!! We absolutely loved how cute it was! We even had some getting ready photos shot in here. The place is incredibly clean and well maintained! Host was very sweet and responsive!! If we stayed in Wausau again, I would absolutely give this place another go! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

5th Time is the charm

We have stayed in this house for the last 5 years. Property description is accurate. Walking distance to just about anything you need. Can see Granite Peak from the front porch. From parking pad to parking lot takes about 10 minutes. Best of all, the owners are very quick about getting back to you with any questions. This year was tricky because of the warm weather and Keele helped us out with that, Thanks again Al and Keele.

Nice old-fashioned house!

Clean & convenient to Wausau sights. Walking distance to downtown. We spent 3 nights & enjoyed cooking & eating in the house as well as eating in Wausau's many restaurants & bars. We did forget 4 types of excellent cheese (purchased at the Saturday morning winter market) in the fridge, so we hope our hosts enjoy good cheese!

Great two night stay

This place was perfect for my needs. It was well stocked with all supplies for a comfortable stay. Beds were comfy and location was great. Communication was some of the best I've experienced with any vacation rental. Definitely recommend.

We fell in love with this home the minute we saw it! We really wanted to be able to share a historic home in the city we love with visiting friends and family. We only live a mile away and really enjoy the downtown location. Wausau has weekly outdoor concerts in the summer, and year round festivals and events.
