Beautiful Istrian House!

This large house was stunning, the garden and pool lovely to enjoy. Quiet and remote but still close to Pazin for anything you need. Our welcome gift of homemade cream cannoli were amazing and also given a lovely homemade on our departure. These touches always makes a stay feel special. Thank you Lidija!! Beautiful Comfortable House in the Heart of Istria

We really enjoyed our stayed at this beautiful and comfortable villa in the heart of Istria, just outside of Pazin. The location in a little village right off the high way allows for easy 30-40 min drives to every major destination on the Istria peninsula such as Pula, Rovini, Rabac and others, including in Slovenia and Italy. The house had nice large bathrooms, showers, air conditioning, a large well stocked kitchen and a great pool and outside area with a swing for the kids. The hosts were welcoming and generous and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend this property to others.

gorgeous place for holidays

Beautiful, stylish house!!! I strongly recommend this house for families with children and as well for those who would like to spend time in a quiet and extremely beautiful house. Nice bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, equipped kitchen, washing machine, iron, place for a grill, etc - everything you need in order to spend your holidays. The view from the garden is very nice - mountains covered with wood, there is hardly none around so the guests can totally relax. The pool is great, there is a lot of space to play volleyball or badminton in the garden. The place for children in the garden with swings and slide. The shop is not far away and in case someone would like to visit the sea it is not far away as well. What is more the owners are great, nice and helpful people !!! They renovated the house themselves putting a lot of work and love into that. We have been there 6 times and I hope we will go again!

We have only words of praise for Villa Mario. Even at the very beginning, when we booked the accommodation, we were delighted by the Villa just by looking at the photos, but I have to admit that it is so much more enjoyable seen in person. Mrs. Lidija, the owner of the house, a very kind and positive person, welcomed us with homemade cookies and told us all the necessary and useful information about the house as well as about the shops, restaurants, cafes ... Although the house is in the village of Šestani, bigger cities (Poreč, Rovinj, Pula ...) are just little over half an hour away by car. What really delighted us is to wake up in the morning and hear the birds chirping and enjoy the peace and quiet. The cleanliness, neatness, and equipment of the house are without a flaw. To wrap it up ... what makes this house really special is the hand-crafted furniture (handmade by her son, the carpenter) that gives the Villa a special value and spirit.

Splendid place for our holidays together with our dog

Fantastic quiet place in the middle of nature. The house is truly unique including 2 balconies, several fire places, a wholly equipped kitchen, a pool and a totally secured garden with a fence for our dog. The renovation of the house took a long time. The outcome is exceptional with a lot of details in stone and wood works. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. They gave us vegetables from their own garden, wine and liquor - just fantastic! We can only recommend this relaxing surrounding where we stayed for 3 weeks. Good connections

Wonderful place and super host!

We have stayed 2 weeks and really everything is perfect! The house is very comfortable, clean spacious and provides everything we needed. Garden is very well maintained and the pool is a joy! The host is the really friendly, welcoming us with homemade sweets. She just made our stay fantastic. Communication was very pleasant and she surprised us with homegrown vegetables and wine! Highly recommend staying here if you are looking for peace and quietness, comfort and the highlights of Istrië just within 30 minutes!

Sehr tolles und gepflegtes Haus

Wir waren für 2 Wochen im August 2022 mit 4 Erwachsenen und 4 Kindern (6,4 und 0 Jahre) dort. Das Haus hält was es verspricht. Es ist sehr gut gepflegt, sauber und gut eingerichtet. Insbesondere die Küche ist hervorragend ausgestattet. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr nett und steht für Fragen und Tipps in der Region jederzeit zur Verfügung. Wir können das Objekt es bedenkenlos weiter empfehlen.

2 Wochen in der Villa Mario

Sehr nette und zuvorkommende Vermieter. Der Preis für Hunde mit 15 Euro pro Tag ist leicht zu hoch. Das Haus war in top Zustand und erfüllte alle unsere Kriterien! Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gab es in unmittelbarer Umgebung, auch 2 nette Restaurants, ansonsten muss man weitere Wege in Kauf nehmen. Angegeben war auch ein Gasgrill, den gab es nicht. sondern 3 Möglichkeiten mit Holzkohle zu grillen. Alles in allem eine schöne Urlaubserfahrung.

A perfect vacation

We had a great time there. The location is quiet and inside beautiful nature, but as it is central in Istria and close to the motorway, many cities and beaches can be quickly reached. The house is nice and clean and it's comfortably cool inside. All equipment needed for BBQ, cooking, etc. was there. The pool is just perfect. Thanks Lidija and family for the nice welcome and taking good care of us. You provided us a perfect vacation in your house. We will for sure come back!

Wir haben hier einen wunderschönen Urlaub verbracht in ruhiger idyllischer Lage, etwas abseits von der Stadt. Das Haus hat alles, was man für einen schönen Urlaub braucht. Besonders der Pool ist bei den Kindern super angekommen. Die Vermieterin war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und hat uns sogar einige Leckereien vorbeigebracht. Wir können das Haus sehr empfehlen und würden hier jederzeit wieder herkommen.

Platz zum Wohfühlen

Wir können uns nur den positiven Bewertungen aller Gäste anschließen. Ein Haus mit persönlichem Charme eingebettet in einer ursprünglichen Natur. Pazin bietet einen zentralen Ausgangspunkt für viele Erkundungstouren durch Istrien und liegt somit ideal. Das Haus bietet alles was man braucht um auch ohne Ausflug den Tag in der Sonnen zu verbringen. Bilder sind 100% so wie man es vorfindet. Pool, Liegen, Grillstelle Gas oder Kohle, Schattenplätze - Sonnenplätze, toller Sundowner Balkon u.v.m. Die Küche hat auch soweit alles was man braucht - nur sollte man auf jeden Fall Gewürze oder sonstige spezielle Sachen mitbringen. Es sind i.d.R. keine Sachen vom Vormieter da. Einkaufen ist in Pazin kein Problem - alles da vom Lidl bis zum lokalen Gemüsehändler. Die Vermieterin ist sehr bemüht das man sich wohlfühlt, gibt Tipps und ist immer erreichbar. Wir inkl. Hund (Labrador) haben uns super wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder kommen und das Objekt allen weiter empfehlen. Danke Martina und der gesamten Familie das wir hier Gäste in dem mit viel Herzblut und Schweiß toll renovierten Generationenhaus sein dürften.

Traumhaftes Anwesen

Wir haben schon 5 Sommerurlaube in dem wunderschönen Anwesen in Sestani verbracht. Das Steinhaus hat den schönen ursprünglichen Charakter. Die Küche ist riesig und gut ausgestattet. Mit 3 Schlafzimmern sowie 3 Bädern ist genügend Platz für Alle. Der Garten mit den unterschiedlichen Sitzgelegenheiten ist herrlich und der Pool setzt dem Ganzen die Krone auf. Besonders genossen haben wir die Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit. Pazin ist jedoch schnell zu erreichen um einzukaufen, usw. Die Lage war für uns optimal um ganz Istrien kennen zu lernen. Die Gastgeber sind super freundlich und zuvorkommend, haben uns immer mit Leckereien empfangen und sind sofort zur Stelle, wenn Wünsche oder Fragen auftauchten. Von uns also viel mehr Sterne dazu, wir hatten immer eine wundervolle Zeit und kommen gerne wieder. Sehr zu empfehlen!!!

Excellent place to relax from everyday life

First contact with owner was great. Lidia was at our disposal during our stay, she takes care about the pool and it was very clean and the house also. We was there with friends and kids (7 people) and we find here everything what we need. We was especially surprised with beauty of nature :-) Location is great because there is no a lot of people but also closed to city, market, etc. Less than 10 minutes away with car. Famous waterfall is also near by and it's really something what you must see. We simply loved that place and it's enough to say that from now we are your guest every summer :-)

Our perfect holiday

My wife and I and another couple stayed in this villa for 2 weeks and I can say truly This villa was by far the best! When we got there Lidija (the owner ) was waiting for us with the homemade cookies and fruits first she explain us that the villa was originally a farm and it has been renovated to this beautiful stone rural house. Everything we needed was there and Lidija was helpful in giving advice on local shops , restaurant and all the things we needed . Villa was extremly clean and very comfortable. I highly recommended this Villa for vacations in Istria.
