Very nice and large house

The location of the house was perfect for our group of cyclists. Many ways to go for a nice bike ride. The house was large and clean. All facilities in the house were very good. The owner is very friendly and clearly good organized to have a smooth stay in the house. Thank you very much!

belle propriété chaleureuse avec un belle espace et bien équipé. Dommage qu'il manque des ampoules dans certaines sdb, des appliques aussi, des portes de douche qui ne tiennent pas. Manque également d'éclairage sur la grande terrasse pour diner, bougies obligatoire, des détails qui empêche le 9 ou le 10

Chalet très grand et bien agréable Des améliorations à apporter : un tour de maintenance périodique à faire -des ampoules HS , lumières salons devraient être plus puissantes; disfonctionnement lumière d’1 des salles de bains; hotte cuisine HS; matériels pour faire la cuisine un peu restreints ; pas de chaise longue pour jardin ou balcon A noter dans descriptif, mentionner : pas jardin fermé ( cf jeunes enfants) ; des locataires intermittents dans sous-sol , même si aucune gêne Bref une belle location, moyennant ces améliorations

chalet agréable

Chalet très agréable pour une réunion familiale. Vastes espaces confortables. Idéal pour une réunion de famille. Quelques désagréments : la hotte ne fonctionnant pas, déclenchements intempestifs de l'alarme incendie, pas de lumière dans le sauna rendant son utilisation difficile en fin de journée. A notre arrivée, le chalet n'avait pas été chauffé par avance ce qui a gâché notre première soirée puisque nous avons dû garder nos manteaux. C'est d'autant plus grave que nous avions des bébés. L'accueil a été très bref sans beaucoup d'explications et nous le regrettons.

Amazing chalet that exceeded our expectations!

This chalet is simply amazing! We were four families, with kids from the age of 6 to 14, and we all loved it. The house is clean, pretty, and very spacious with plenty of room for everyone! The bedrooms were all very cozy and spacious. The kitchen and dining room was large enough to fit all of us superbly and is perfect for big family style dinners! Fran is a great host who is super easy to deal with. I'd really hope we get the chance to come back here one day soon! Can't recommend this place enough!

At the heart of the Chalet-Sixtine, a family team. Marc and his wife Anne based in Annecy, his sister Laurence and her husband Thierry living in Asia, have made their childhood dream come true ! Seduced by the authentic and warm charm of the chalet, by its unique size, the four of them fell in love with this large and cosy nest, ideal for bringing together their six children, as well as their families and friends, during large winter or summer gatherings in Haute-Savoie.

Why they chose this property

This entirely restored alpine farmhouse dating from the beginning of the 20th century is nestled in the mountainous setting of the Aravis massif, in Saint-Jean-de-Sixt, very close to the resorts of La Clusaz and Le Grand-Bornand, two renown ski locations packed with activities for all ages. The perfect place for a total change of scenery in the middle of nature, 50km from Geneva airport and 30km from Annecy station.
