1st I want to thank all our past guests for their great reviews.
Bay Harbour Starfish is a luxury condo overlooking a large boat basin with views of the Atlantic Ocean. Situated in Lower Matecumbe Key, Islamorada, the Sport Fishing Capital of the World. This very spacious 3 bedroom, 2 and half bath condo has been decorated in Tommy Bahama style with a large living and dining area, including a wet bar. The kitchen is equipped for family cooking and has a writing desk for your convenience. The Master suite is very roomy and in suite bath with large jetted soaking tub and seperate shower and walkin closet. This bedroom has sliding glass doors leading out to the expanse screened in lanai overlooking the boat basin. Two guest bedrooms have Queen sized beds and are designed in a tropical motif. The living and dining areas also lead out to the screened in patio, where you can dine alfresco and watch the boats coming into the basin. There is a 30' boat slip included with electric and water, fish cleaning stations are setup by the dock. There is a locking storage area in the garage for you to put all of your boating gear or bikes. The storage area includes a freezer for your bait and catch. The facility includes tropical landscaping, a heated pool and spa, large gym with workout equipment and a club house. There are grills for you to use and the tennis and basketball courts are lighted. Beautiful, spacious and comfortable condo with screened porch overlooking the harbor.

We loved sitting on the porch watching the fishing boats coming and going. We fished from the dock, caught dinner, and even saw a huge manatee. The condo was spotless, well stocked, and the beds were super comfortable. We loved the heated pool and the people were very friendly.

Really enjoyed our stay in Islamorada (despite the cooler weather) and were impressed with both the condition and location of the condo. The condo is extremely clean and well maintained with awesome views, and is well located for easy access to many activities and restaurants. Was absolutely wonderful. The Condo was spacious enough for my family and super clean and perfect, the views incredible, the pool refreshing after a day of fishing and the hot tub incredible for relaxing in the evenings. Absolutely will come back!!!

Perfect place to stay

Been coming to Islamorada for over 10 years. Stayed at many places including top hotels. This is my second year at this condo and it's the best place yet. Close to everything but away from the bustle. Clean and new inside. Great porch to relax on

Spacious and well stocked condo

We loved our stay at Lee and Loretta's condo. It was located in a gated and beautifully landscaped community. It was quiet, safe for the kids, the pool was fantastic, and the condo had a great layout, tons of room and everything we could need and more. The boat dock was perfect too and we saw manatees and all kinds of other fish right there. We hope to stay there again next year.

Awesome condo and property

Very clean and well appointed condo. Bedrooms are good size and the 3 bathrooms are a bonus. Nice master suite. Dock is in good location and close to cleaning station, but not directly in front of it which is great. Storage room and freezer worked out great as well. Owner has great communication.

Beautiful condo!

Condo was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed. We were near restaurants, shopping. and was perfect for our boating needs (bay side and ocean side). Contacted host once (not for any complaints) and he was immediately available to answer our question. Would recommend staying here !

Super Stay!

Our family was in the Keys for 2 weeks at this condo and we truly enjoyed all the amenities both inside the condo as well as outside~the clubhouse, grill, pool and boat dock were so nice to have at our disposal! Highly recommend! The owner is very responsive and easy to communicate with. The condo kitchen is equipped with many cooking needs, towels for both the bath and the boat and all sorts of comforts of home. We were very happy and will look forward to staying again!

Wonderful stay! Great property!

Lee was great to work with. Lee was attentive and started the process a month before arrival to be sure all paperwork was done correctly. We were allowed to check in early which was a big help! Bob the manger on site was also great! The 3 bedroom condo is very spacious and the kitchen has everything needed to cook. The view is amazing! The pool and on-site weight room were another big bonus to us! We will definitely at stay at this property again when we return to Islamorada!

The owner is responsive and easy to reach if needed. But there is also a property manager on site. They make you feel at home, comfortable, safe, and needing for nothing. The Keys is a great place to be. You can ride a bike to Robbie’s from here. You can dock your boat here. You can simply relax, or go be adventurous with so much to do nearby. So enjoyable. Thanks

An incredibly nice, luxury condo

We had an incredible time staying at the condo. This is not your average rental condo. It is incredibly nice, even nicer than the pictures show. The unit is big, with plenty of space for everyone. It is tastefully decorated, extremely nice, and equipped with anything you would ever need for your vacation. There is a downstairs storage area for fishing gear or snorkeling equipment, and a freezer for bait or catch. The boat slip is directly beside the unit, and it has great access to both the Florida Bay or the ocean. The condo complex is extremely nice, upscale and clean, and is located in a great area. It’s quiet, but close to restaurants, shopping, etc. We have rented multiple places in Islamorada in the past, and this by far is the best we’ve stayed at. The owners were quick to respond to any requests we had prior to and upon arrival. They provide an abundance of information about the unit and the area prior to arrival. They really go above and beyond expectations to provide you with a great vacation. We highly recommend renting the condo, and plan on staying here again in he future.

Beautiful Condo

We had a lovely week in this condo. It’s unusual for a place to be better and more spacious than the pictures indicate but this definitely was. It also felt clean. Our family of four had plenty of room to spread out and we had everything we needed. Plenty of towels, extra blankets, fluffy beach towels, a well stocked kitchen. The screened in lanai was a wonderful place to relax and the view was very nice. The condo complex is quite nice, the pool was a good size, the condo was very quiet aside from the occasional traffic noise which was minor. We had a slight issue with getting into the condo as our code did not work on the key pad but I called Lee and he got us in quickly. The only minor inconvenience was that the shower in the hallway bathroom was stuck on an uncomfortable setting. I can only assume Lee would have helped us deal with it if we contacted him but it was not a big deal for our kids to use the shower in the (enormous ) main bathroom. The location was very good for us. There is really not much within walking distance but there are plenty of restaurants just a short drive away and the Publix was about 15 minutes away. Traffic was occasionally an issue but a little patience is all that is needed. Overall it was a great stay and I would definitely recommend.

Yes, the traffic can be heavy in the Keys during prime time but like you said, have patience cause you usually don't have to go very far.

Best Location in the Keys!

We had a wonderful stay at Bay Harbor Condos in Islamorada. This was our second stay in the community, but first for this unit. The landlord was very helpful throughout the process and always responded quickly. The unit is tastefully decorated with plenty of space. TVs in every room. The community was impeccable. Pool area has plenty of seating and room for the kids to play. You have great restaurants (Green Turtle, Morada Bay, Lazy Days) just 7 miles north as well as Publix and West Marine. For breakfast/coffee check out Midway Cafe. Tips for Boaters: The boat slip has a pedestal with a hose and 30 amp plug. Smaller boats will need to bring a 30A to 110 adapter for onboard charging. Across the dock (100yds) you have fuel (diesel+rec90), bait and tackle. You also have what I consider to be the best beach/sandbar in the keys just outside the canal. Also, the unit comes with a storage unit and freezer right by the boat slip. Great for fishing rods, bait/ice and other gear. Don't hesitate this unit has everything you need for a great vacation.

Beyond Expectations! Perfect Family Vacation

We could not have been more pleased with our stay at Lee and Loretta's place. Immaculate condo - fresh, clean, and luxurious decor. Views of the water from the moment you walk through the door. The master bedroom was heaven with a view of the water as well, private access to the balcony, a wonderful walk-in shower, and jetted garden tub. The two other bedrooms were spacious and great for the kids. Kitchen was FULLY stocked. It was so nice to see that folks would leave behind their goodies (condiments, spices, non-perishables) for the next renters who arrived. That made even better to know that what we left would also be appreciated and used. We rented a boat and went out every day, so the location was ideal for us. Boat slip was a few steps from our front door. This condo was the perfect place to start and end our days. We would definitely stay again, and highly recommend. All the supplies and gear were there to use. Great communication and advice/helpful tips. Wonderful condo, wonderful vacation!

Lee & Loretta have made renting this property so unbelievably easy. Easiest vacation ever! The condo is beautifully decorated, very spacious and fully equipped with most all needs. The location is quiet, peaceful & beautiful. We had plenty of room and never felt over crowded (6 stayed). We enjoyed sitting on the screened in porch daily, fishing off the docks, the local seafood next door at Lobster Walk, we enjoyed the pool which always had plenty of room during our stay it was never busy, and the maintenance & property managers were super nice too. We enjoyed many of the suggestions from Theatre of the Sea (where my daughter swam with Malibu the sea lion), we went fishing with the ‘Relentless’ crew out of Bud & Mary’s where we caught 17 Mahi and 2 black fin Tuna, we kayaked the mangroves over at Robbie’s where we also fed the tarpon & saw 4 huge manatees. Our dock fishing had several little fish that we caught and a nurse shark that visited our dock almost daily. My husband, son & friend also went fishing one day where they caught and chased a few bull sharks which made for a fun fishing day! We also visited Key West and enjoyed the aquarium, the distillery, and the butter fly observatory (among other places). And the food... Lorelei's was beautiful at sunset as suggested, we enjoyed The Hungry Tarpon, Habano’s, Sloppy Joe’s and The No Name Pub (where we also saw and pet some of the key deer). Best first visit to the FL keys... great location. Thanks for the opportunity to stay at your condo!!

Beautiful place

We arrived slightly early and Lee was very helpful and allowed us to access the property early, which we were extremely grateful for after a 3 hour drive. The property was wonderful ,well equipped ,clean with a super view. .We spent a couple of days round the pool which has plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas to shade under and had 2 BBQs which we used. We would highly recommend this property and had a fabulous relaxing week.Thank you so much for letting us stay.

We traveled to the Keys for many years and knew this was the area we wanted to be in. It is close to several of our favorite restaurants and activities. We had great fishing here and enjoyed seeing the manatees and colorful fish.

What makes this property unique

The spacious rooms (2026 square feet) and quiet property really brings out the relaxed feelings that the Keys are known for. We fell in love with the double wide lanai doors which really makes it feel open and airy.
