Blue Wren Villa Lovedale - Central to all wineries, restaurants & attractions

Our one bedroom villas are perfect for your next escape to relax and unwind.

For a hassle free and contactless arrival the villas offer a secure pin code entry to allow for an express check in any time after 2pm without the need to check in at reception.

Woodlane Cottages is centrally located to the cellar doors, restaurants, cafes, attractions and concert venues in the Hunter Valley.

Perfect place to book if you love enjoying the peace and quiet, with the benefit of a central location. We adjoin the Werakata National Park, which is perfect for bush walking and mountain bike riding.

We have a shared 12 metre resort style saltwater swimming pool for guests to share and enjoy.

in the cooler months the villa has a combustion wood fireplace to keep you cosy with complimentary firewood supplied from May to September.

BLUE WREN VILLA:
Separate bedroom with 1 x queen bed, reverse cycle air conditioning, ceiling fan and wardrobe
Open plan lounge with fireplace and separate dining area
The lounge in the living room folds out to a sofa bed for a 3rd adult or child (on request, fees apply, it will be set up and packed down by our cleaners to avoid damage to the frame, damage will incur a minimum fee of $550).
Fully equipped kitchen comprising a full size upright oven with 4 electric hot plates, full size fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee pod machine and plenty of kitchen ware
Ensuite bathroom with walk in shower, hairdryer & Complimentary starting supply of toiletries, toilet paper, tea, coffee, sugar, dishwashing liquid & hand wash
Iron & compact ironing board
Bed linen and bath towels supplied
Slow combustion wood fire, a complimentary box of wood is supplied from May to September
Smart TV, DVD player, Stereo player
Private verandah equipped with a 4 burner gas BBQ, outdoor dining setting, plus recliner chairs to sit back & relax

All you need to bring is your food, drink and pool towels for the swimming pool.

All of our cottages are a very short stroll from each other, yet also retain their own privacy.

Sorry but we do not permit pets as there is no suitable fencing to contain your furry friend and they are not permitted inside our accommodation.

A beautiful place to get away from it all. We stayed as a group of 12 in two cottages for my husband's 50th birthday, took lots of fabulous food with us and had a great time at the Jazz in the Vines festival. I can totally recommend it and would like to go back!

Our stay at Woodland Cottages was a very enjoyable experience indeed. We stayed over the Easter break and to our delight the Easter Bunny arrived in the disguise as one of the owners. This small touch has left a lasting memory and we will certainly return again next year. The cottages are beautifully presented and the ambiance very serene. Perfect weekend away

We absolutely loved our stay at Woodland cottages. Location is perfect, calm and peaceful yet close to all the activities of the Hunter. It was a very relaxing place and I highly recommend staying at the property.

Peace, tranquility, nature... paradise found

Never want to leave - Kirsty and Kieran are wonderful hosts. The cottage is clean and well appointed. Surrounded by nature and waking up to the sounds of so many birds. A perfect spot. I will be back .

Very nice good location but a few dowsides

The property and cabin were really nice, easy location. Easy access to property and the check in was good. Also really great that there was a small fireplace and firewood provided for us. The biggest problem was lack of communication. The roads to access the property were dirt and full of huge potholes. Secondly the shower had one of the worst water pressures I've ever had. I didn't have a proper shower the whole time I stayed. I get that it's a rural property that uses rain water but there was no effort to communicate this whatsoever. Also the tap water was also rainwater and not safe to drink. None of this was communicated to us before the visit. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but it wasn't worth the money we payed at all. I don't really reccomend it.

Thanks for your review Josh. In reply to a few of your comments, Lomas Lane and McCarty Road is maintained and graded by council approx. every 3 months. The shower was fixed and the flow is fine, it was simply due to a few little particles blocking the full flow. Apologies, as had you brought this to our attention during your stay we could of attended to it. Although the tap water is supplied from rain water we have always drank it and never experiences any problems.

Great location and lovely cottage!

Currawong was a great cottage for 12 of us (6 adults and 6 kids) - close to the wineries and the hunter valley gardens. The cottage was well equipped, clean and homely. The onsite pool was a bonus. Would recommend especially for a larger group.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed here( 4 couples).Going back again in nov 2012. everything you require is accounted for, just arrive with your food & drink, sit back & relax. We stay here when we go to concerts at hope estate etc,you can organise a bus to pick you up at $20/head return.The owner,s have got it right, as it is always the first place we look for to book in the hunter.
