Wonderful stay at stone hedge with the extended family. Excellent games room as well as the river & big garden kept the kids entertained & off screens all weekend. Highly Recommended.

Summer Getaway
Perfect place for our large group of friends who wanted to spend New Years away from Sydney City. Large kitchen and fridge space made cooking very easy and the enormous living room made entertaining great. Also, close to some walking trails in the Blue Mountains and the large backyard field was great for outdoor activities. Thank you Janet for providing us the facilities for a truly memorable trip.

Beautifully kept rural retreat
We had a wonderful stay here! The grounds are beautifully maintained and the house was enormous, easily accommodating 15 adults. The images on here do not do the place justice, it is very picturesque and there are deer that look like a scene from a Christmas card on the property. The only draw back (honestly very small issue) was that it was a total fire ban on the weekend we were up there and as such we could not light the bbq, but the kitchen was well equipped and we managed easily enough. Wonderful time, many thanks for having us!

family wedding stay
Our family had a fabulous time at Stone Hedge where the autumn colours were magnificent, particularly the very old oak trees which spread out over the lovely lawn.My only suggestions would be that it would be good to know that the house is such a long way off the main road, more toilet rolls would be useful as would washing powder/liquid for the washing machine and a dryer.

So pleased you enjoyed your stay at Stone Hedge, and the beautiful autumn colours in the garden.
Thanks for your feedback Mandy. We are really keen to maintain our property to a high standard.
You may have missed the directions in our Welcome Guide, emailed 3 days before arrival, also available in the Vrbo app. The directions indicate that once you go through the entrance to Stone Hedge at Duckmaloi Road, you drive down a gravel road 700m, then through the Stone Hedge boundary gate and it is then a further 1km to the house.
We provide 12 toilet rolls for each weekend stay for our guests. We will review this now, after your feedback.
Washing powder is available for use by guests, it is in the cupboard next to the washing machine.
Hope to see you again some time in future,
Janet
This house was awesome. A bunch of friends leaving city life to reconnect and have fun. The property was immaculate inside and out and catered for us to break out into different groups and enjoy. Walks, games, food, wine, scenery. Could not rate this place high enough and hopefully we will return.
We have stayed at Stonehedge twice now with a group of friends and our kids.
The property is beautiful and peaceful. A relaxing escape from city life. The kids had a ball playing outside from dawn till dusk.
