Awesome accomodation and host! The place backed into a nice wooded area and wonderful to wake up to the sound of birds. In the evening, you can watch the whole family of kangaroos wandering! Absolutely peaceful and tranquil

Cute Bush Cottage

We had a wonderfully relaxing stay. We found the bush setting peaceful, surrounded by grazing kangaroos in the twilight hours and a number of birds and other wildlife. The cottage was clean and comfortable and close to everything we wanted to do. We would happily stay there again and recommend it to others.

The perfect getaway for friends, this cottage is beautifully maintained in a stunning setting. Plenty of living and entertaining areas and the bedrooms are spacious. The kitchen is large and supplied with everything we needed. The locals neighbours - kangaroos - was a definite bonus and we loved watching them graze and play! Many thanks for letting us stay in your amazing cottage.

Wonderful break away

We had a wonderful few days at wildwood brook cottage, it was very comfortable and cozy, we were treated to an amazing storm which we watched in front of the fire. We would definitely love to return. Thank you!

Great location

Great location - peaceful and conveniently located. The cottage had everything needed to self cater but was not particularly clean and the towels provided were miserly. It would have been fine for budget accomodation but not for what we paid

Peaceful getaway

We spent 4 nights in this beautiful cottage overlooking tranquil surrounds, of green grass and bushland, the cottage was very comfortable and you cant help but sit and think how lucky we are to be able to enjoy this beautiful place, bring your walking shoes and take a walk, you might be suprised what you find in the area.

Rest and relax, sit on that lovely verandah, look at the trees, listen to the creek and if you're really lucky kangaroos will stay for the day almost by your side. Time to go in and you'll find everything you need in this cosy environment - well equipped kitchen, comfortable sofas, wood fire, air con/heating, large tv and last but certainly not least good beds.The cottage is within easy reach of all the tourist attractions wineries, the beach etcI don't believe you will be disappointed if you choose to stay here, it is family friendly for all ages.

Family holiday

This is a comfortable house with beautiful views down a small valley to the river and a sweet little bridge. It's in a quiet rural setting but conveniently close to the beach. The rooms are spacious and the kitchen well equipped. We enjoyed sitting on the huge decking watching as the kangaroos came out in the late afternoon. I would highly recommend this house for a family holiday and would like to return with other visitors one day.

Beautiful long weekend

Wow! What a stunning property and location, very quintessential and peaceful. Loved having an open fire and watching the kangaroos in the morning with a cup of coffee. The owners were efficient and friendly in correspondence. We will definitely love to return soon! Thankyou!

Cottage Escape

We felt relaxed from the moment we arrived. From the verandah we could see ducks landing on the brook, and hear frogs and cicadas. We were visited by blue wrens while we sipped our before dinner wines. How lucky were we?

This is a really beautiful property in a wonderfully tranquil location

We had a very stressful check in as the owner did not release the check in details. When I rang her, she mistakenly thought someone else was checking in. Thankfully she was quick to rectify the situation and all was good in the end but it was a lot of stress that we could have done without!!!!

Thankfully we do know that you had an awesome stay at Wildwood Book Cottage and would like to share some of your lovely comments in the guest book… "A beautiful holiday lodge in an idyllic tranquil setting! We loved all the birds especially the emerald blue fairy wings! Very helpful suggestions in the book – we found the stunning “secret beach” and enjoyed some wonderful meals…" It certainly was a couple of stressful minutes as when looking up your booking to re-send the entry instructions I inadvertently clicked on the details of the people leaving the same day you arrived. So pleased that you enjoyed your stay. NB – guests are notified when they book Wildwood Brook Cottage that “We will email you beforehand with more details including entry instructions”. Should these not have been received two to three days prior to your arrival please do get in touch rather than leave it to the last minute, we will also be vigilant in confirming that are sent by the booking system.

Great place to stay

Love staying here and will be back next year. One thing I would change in install of a firm base bed in main room and installation of a pump for the water pressure great new shower but pressure not good.

Hi Andrew, so pleased that you enjoyed your stay. We have found that changing from the rain water head to the directional head had a huge impact on the water pressure. Ah, the beds, they have given us some challenges over the years, as unfortunately different people just like different beds. We thought we solved this problem by upgrading to high quality mid firmness mattresses just over two years ago, and thought we had really hit the mark when guests asked us where we purchased them from as they had had the most comfortable nights sleep ever.
