The house is undergoing a FULL RENOVATION! It's getting fresh, new, modern Kitchen, Bathrooms, living areas and flooring and due to be complete by September 2024.

Perfect for a relaxing family get away all year round; it's your perfect summer getaway and cosy winter escape. See the beach, watch the dolphins and hear the waves crashing from the serenity of the deck.

This 3 bedroom 2 bathroom double storey beachhouse is situated on one of the most beautiful unspoilt beaches. The white sand and clear blue water blend to make this of the most sought after holiday spots. Walk 100 steps down the path and you're on the beach!

Baywatch is just 10 meters from the sandy beach edge with a private, upstairs deck overlooking the beautiful Jervis bay. The views of the water and beach are just superb. The house also has a private, enclosed garden so perfect for young families; with access to the beach via the side gate with NO roads to cross.

There are 2 separate lounge areas (upstairs and downstairs),
-Upstairs has a new sleeper lounge with smart TV (perfect for an afternoon snooze after a busy morning at the beach). This lounge extends out to the private deck.
-Downstairs has a brand new open plan kitchen, dining and family room leading onto the fenced and enclosed garden.

There are 3 bedrooms - 1 master bedroom downstairs with queen bed and ensuite and 2 double rooms upstairs with separate bathroom.
There's a double sleeper couch in the lounge upstairs which is perfect for 1 adult or 2 kids.

The Kitchen is complete with brand new appliances including an oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and all the cutlery and crockery one needs. There is a weber gas BBQ in the garden as well

Baywatch is a slice of paradise and a perfect getaway for a family (or 2) or group of friends.

Great house perfect location

Compact, clean, fully renovated and a few steps from perfect Callala beach. Great little beach house, comfortably fit 6 adults and location is perfect. Lovely view from the upstairs balcony, a nice place to sit and catch the breeze on a hot day. Kim was very easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay again.

Great location for a family

My two grown children and grandchildren joined us at this beach house and we had a lovely time. The house is positioned so close to the beach that you can hear the waves and is also close to a park and great Italian restaurant. We will definitely book again.

Great location, easily accessible

Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The property was very close to the beach which made it easy to go down for a swim or a walk especially with kids. There was plenty of room for two families and the separate bathroom, upstairs and downstairs was useful. The wifi was a bit weak so we didn’t use it much at all and there is no aircon so it can get hot on a hot day.

Amazing overall

Michael was amazing from the beginning. This was my second stay at this property and it will definitely not be my last. Everything you need is here or there’s a shop across the road. The only thing I didn’t like about the property was the beach access was too scary to walk through. Was too overgrown with plants. Also the outdoor settings both were so old and fragile I was worried my kids would break them. But everything else was amazing. It wouldn’t stop me from coming back. Michael’s hospitality is by far the best in my experience. Without asking for it he sent us emails containing any info we would need to make our stay there perfect. He also offered us a late check out which was amazing. Trust me you will love it!!

It is under council control and had got overgrown but has now been cleared again. The outdoor bench has also been replaced. Fabulous holiday experience!

We had such a relaxing holiday on the Australia Day long weekend. Right on the beach, perfect weather, excellent layout of the house and a genial host (Michael) who communicated easily with us and provided all the details we needed. The upstairs balcony looks directly onto the ocean and we enjoyed several evening wine times there. Would recommend this property without hesitation - 5 stars all round (even the weather)

I am really surprised at your comments. I can only think that you are thinking of a different property. The two issues you mention size and local srore. Baywatch is a good size house. It boasts , 3 bedrooms, large lounge dining area, open plan kitchen and big living areas. On lower level, there is bedroom 1 and its ensuite. The kitchen dining an dfamily room leading out to the garden and BBQ area. On the upper level, there is a large lounge tv area leading to the deck with its magnificent views of the bay and beach, as well as two bedrooms and a full bathroom. . Each level is 100 sq meters – a total 200 square meters internally plus a 40 sq meter deck with views of the water and beach, plus a garden. – the size of a normal Australian home or two average 3 bedroom apartments. (The Bureau of Statistics says The Average size of an Australian home is 186 Sq metes , including balconies and patios ) The village stores are the Callala Bay shopping village which is 3 km away ( 5 min by car) which includes a large IGA , a baker, a bottle shop, a pharmacy, a a restaurant, a butcher and a number of other stores. Across the road is a takeaways store. I think you were confusing us with some other house Baywatch is a delightful beach cottage providing very comfortable accommodation in a great position on a fabulous beach at an affordable price.

The Baywatch weekend

Super super super. The accommodation is fantastic and on the first floor patio you enjoy meals with a stunning view. The house is fully equipped with what you need. Michael is a wonderful host and is very available to answer eventual queries, and he provides an extensive list of "things to do, places to eat..." Many excursion available to enjoy beautiful scenery. We went on a dolphin cruise. The kids were ecstatic. Beach is literally 10 steps away. No need to cross the road. Also a nice park is available on the other side of the street. Only negative aspect.... We only had a weekend to stay in this paradise. We will definitely try to come back.

A Home away from Home!

A huge thank you to Mike for the whole process from initial inquiry to checking out. The warm welcome and honesty about this property (compared to so many properties we had stayed at on this same street which were absolute beachfront) really convinced us that it was the right place for us. Everything was perfect and for anyone wanting to see the ocean and dolphins but not have to pay the price tag that goes with an absolute beachfront house, this is the one! Nice spot.

Not the place to be in the winter. unless you take your own heater and electric blankets. Is well kept but also used and abused in parts by previous irresponsible people for which the owner cannot be blamed. Honest communications with him were a pleasure. Will stay there again - this time when my wife and I aren't burdened by a family matter.

I so pleased you had a good time and look forward to welcoming you back in the summer. Yes the nights are cold but the days are generally mild and can be quite warm. The walks along the beach are wonderful and the dolphins are generally easy to spot. There are lots of nice places and in the vicinity that make a visit wonderful. I am sorry you did not use the wood fire heater which warms the house magnificently and creates a wonderfully cosy feel. There are the electric heaters as well but the fire is really special. On a cold night most of our guest really love sitting in front of the wood burning fire with a hot chocolate or a glass of red, and a good book or a movie on TV. Our doonas are thick and warm, and then to sleep with the sound of wave crashing on the beach is really special. We do continuous maintenance and improvement in order to make sure our guest have a excellent holiday. I look forward welcoming you back.

Great house on an amazing beach

My family had a wonderful stay at this property. Mike was very helpful with providing useful recommendations for the local area. The house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked, which was a nice surprise because previous holiday homes I have stayed in had a poorly stocked kitchen. I would highly recommend this property and this beautiful location.

Retreat by the beach

The booking process was great. The owner was proactive and quick to respond. The property is close to the beach. It's got all the required amenities for a trip away. Loved our visit. My family and I will be back!

Our family bought the property in the early 90's when it was a tiny shack. Over the past 30 years we have created our home away from home. Our family have grown up on Callala beach and has created lasting memories for us, our kids and now grandkids.

Why they chose this property

Beautifully renovated, Baywatch is the perfect size and location for a family getaway or a catch up amongst friends. With 2 separate living areas it means you can relax whilst the kids watch tv or play in a separate area - you're not on top of one another!

It has everything you need to have a fantastic break and enough space to get some lone R&R time be it through summer or winter.

What makes this property unique

Baywatch has an enclosed garden which is perfect for kids as well as a private deck with stunning views of the bay. Beach access is via the side gate with no roads to cross!

Swimming and relaxing on the white sands and clear aqua water in Summer is a special treat. But the beach is perfect all year round! And with an indoor, enclosed fireplace, Baywatch is also perfect for those cozy winter getaways.
