This unit is perfect. We love Carlsbad village and this is centrally located for everything. Not much has air conditioning in San Diego but this unit does and as an Arizonian I know AC! With the summer heat and humidity in San Diego it was so nice to come back to our until and have the AC to cool off. The unit had everything - towels, appliances, beach stuff and extra pillows and a comfortable bed! You will not be disappointed. It has its own car space (smaller car as it’s tight) and the owners are wonderful. I cannot recommend this space enough!

The host was available for answers in a timely manner. We felt welcomed. Having access to a beach umbrella, towels and boogey boards was a plus as we went to the beach each day.

Trust your instinct and book this place. It sits right in the middle of the Carlsbad Village activities, literally 2 blocks from the beach. The condo is fully equipped with everything you need for a short or long stay (kitchen, beach toys/chairs/accessories, linens, etc. The complex is clean and well maintained. I felt safe as female traveling alone. This was a true treat for me and worth every penny. The host was in quick communication and was immediate with responses. I would go back tomorrow if I could.

Quiet complex, nice mixture of owners and vacationers. Didn’t need to drive anywhere, walk to restaurants and beach. Owners are very responsive before, during and after stay

Great location

Straddles the area between Downtown Carlsbad and the beach making it all walkable. We never needed to use our car once we parked. We would stay here again next time we visit.

Best location

Our first mini vacation in Haustay was a blast! What a fantastic way to celebrate our Birthdays, Anniversary & Retirement in Carlsbad! Our condo unit is accessible to nearby restaurants, stores, & of course the beach! We are seniors & everything close is a big plus! Loved the property! Location was perfect and loved that we were right next to Carlsbad Village and the beach was a five minute walk away. The moment you walk onto the property you are greeted with a beautiful and lush landscape and are shielded from the noise and bustle of the town around you. The condo is decorated very cute and was very clean. It was a perfect get away for my wife and I. Would recommend.

Worth every cent

The location of the property in proximity to the beach and GOOD restaurants was fantastic. A short walk anywhere and the neighborhood felt very safe. The property was beautifully maintained, the apartment very clean and well decorated. The provided beach gear was a blessing - the boogey board in particular. We will book this property for future stays.

Such a cute place! Stocked with tons of amenities like lots of beach gear available to use, portable crib, white noise machine, extra blankets, games, dvd’s to watch, books, dishes, pots and pans, and spices. It’s also in a great location; just a couple of blocks to the beach and right in the middle of restaurants and shopping! The only minor complaint I have is that the bathtub would fill up with water when taking a shower and was very slow to drain; it also seemed like it could’ve used a little deeper scrub. Again, very minor thing with the whole overall stay. I will definitely be staying here again!!

This is an easy 5+ star rating. Immaculately clean condo in a perfect location. Never took my car out of the (reserved) parking space because everything and anything is within an easy walk. The owners have installed two a/c units that get the place cool very quickly if it’s warm outside. Quiet neighbors, beautiful grounds… can’t really say enough good things about the unit, and I definitely look forward to returning.

A perfect get away

We took our son for his 10th bday trip. The location could not be topped. Walking distance to shops and eateries (and amazing coffee) and the beach. Had all the beach items we would need. A comfy bed for us and he slept on the pull out couch bed. We had a small kitchen which was all we needed. The neighbors were amazing. We had an incredible time. We made it to the zoo. Legoland. Solana beach, an amazing slot canyon hike minutes from solana and went to see the sea lions! Very great space!

A gem of a way to visit Carslbad

The unit was part of a complex just a block from the beach and within walking distance of many great restaurants. The units surround a grass area with a gas grill which we used to cook dinner one night. Even though it was in the heart of the beach town, it was very quiet. All the other tenants were respectful of the after 10 quiet time.Having a designated covered parking spot was very convenient as the weekends get very busy. The owners were very kind and kept in touch to make sure we didn't have any questions. It was very clean and homey. The bed was very comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was great. We will definitely be staying again if they will have us! We can't emphasize what a great location it is.
