This holiday unit is fully self contained and shares the property with Waterfront Escape so could be perfect for large groups wanting to book both the main home and the unit. The unit does not have lake access but does enjoy lake views and is right next-door to the Okareka wetlands where you can enjoy an easy 5.5km scenic walk along the boardwalk that wraps around the side of the lake.

The Space:
Discover a cozy apartment featuring an open-plan living area with a kitchenette, dining space, and living room, all flowing seamlessly onto a small deck. Enjoy stunning lake views while you relax or dine, complete with a BBQ for outdoor cooking. The master bedroom is designed for comfort, featuring a queen-size bed and a private full bathroom.

Guest Access:
The unit does not have lake access but does enjoy Great Lake views and is right next-door to the Okareka Walkway where you can enjoy a walk along the boardwalk along the side of the lake.

Directly next to the Okareka Walkway, you can enjoy a scenic 5.5km stroll along the boardwalk that encircles the lake. While the apartment doesn't have direct lake access, the views are simply stunning. For dining, you'll find a few options a short drive away in the nearby city of Rotorua, offering a variety of restaurants and cafes to suit all tastes. You can explore the unique shops and galleries that showcase the region's arts and crafts. The neighborhood is known for its peaceful atmosphere and natural beauty, perfect for those seeking a relaxing getaway. Drive for 20 minutes to Rotorua for supermarkets and a broader range of shops and restaurants.

Navigating to and from Okareka Escape is straightforward. You'll find free parking available both on the property and on the street. The apartment is conveniently located about a 25-minute drive from Rotorua Airport (ROT). For those relying on public transport, the main bus services are accessible in Rotorua city, roughly a 20-minute drive from the apartment. This makes it easy to explore the local area and further afield. If you are driving, the apartment is ideally situated to access Rotorua's city center, with its many shops, restaurants, and attractions, within a short car journey. Consider renting a car for the most convenient travel options during your stay.

Other Things to Note:
Kindly be aware that our kitchen features an induction hot plate, a plug-in bench-top oven, and a BBQ for your convenience, but lacks a built-in oven. Parking is provided for guests. The main house may also be rented; therefore, we ask for your consideration regarding parking.
