We will return!
Beautiful home away from home. Well stocked kitchen for cooking meals in since Covid restrictions and limitations on eating out. Great location for walking around town.

Spacious, clean, comfortable and convenient
We loved this tastefully decorated and comfortable home away from home! Very nice and well equipped kitchen, lovely dining room that seats a large group and a welcoming living room. Three very comfortable bedrooms upstairs with a nice big bathroom and good shower. The stairs are a bit steep, but certainly manageable. Very close to town and ready access to all area happenings. Many thanks to Gregg and Marie for their gracious hospitality!

Elegant Old House
Our stay in North Adams was about what we expected from an old house with great architectural bones--elegant and somewhat lacking in comfort. The kitchen has been redone nicely, but we had no need of it on this particular trip. The half bathroom downstairs was convenient and perfectly functional. The furnishings in the dining and living rooms were uncomfortable. The impossibly high ceilings were a delight! Be prepared to carry your suitcase up a long, steep staircase with creaky wood treads. (There is no way to be quiet in this house while you are moving around, so no one could ever sneak up on you!) The three bedrooms upstairs are 1) tiny, 2) small, and 3) good sized. The king bed was reasonably comfortable; the queen bed was not. My daughter said the twin bed was so soft she sank into it. Not sure if that is good or bad because she will sleep anywhere. The full bath with shower was nicely tiled and immaculate, but definitely has that old timey feel. The enormous windows throughout the home were difficult or impossible to open/close, and the upstairs bedrooms very hot despite use of the provided window fans. In addition the inexpensive window shades were a real nuisance and need to be replaced especially since we were required to close them all when we left (as per the instructions). They were all closed when we arrived as well and I have to say walking into a darkened old house is not very welcoming. I don't mean to imply that this is a bad rental, but definitely overpriced for what you are getting.

Elegant, spacious home
The home is gorgeous and spacious with elegantly curated art, furniture, books and linens. Our hosts were very gracious, providing everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. There are excellent restaurant choices nearby (Public, Gramercy) and a healthy/friendly breakfast/coffee spot (Brewhaha). We would definitely recommend this property for anyone coming to the area.
