A great family getaway

The location to the beaches is excellent and the area is nice and quiet. The kitchen facilities are excellent with plenty of crockery, cutlery utensils etc. for large families. Jim is an excellent host who provides clear instructions when you arrive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Perfect!

Location was great, werent in the house for too long as in was the perfect location for exploring Cape Woolamai. There is a big outdoor backyard which was amazing for lunch under the sun. Jim was super accommodating!

Booked this house for my extended family over the Easter weekend. Even with 6 adults and 4 kids the house didnt feel crowded. Location was awesome, really close to the beach but away for the hustle and bustle of Cowes. Jim was great to deal with and the cost for the 4 nights was surprisingly cheap, cheaper than most other places on the island. 100% would book this again in a heart beat.

It was a comfortable and ideally located Home for a nearby Wedding celebration. No frills stay but spacious and clean. Don't expect the Internet, but not a deal breaker. Close to a beautiful quiet beach and short drive to the surf Beach if you want waves. Vince

Great family stay in perfect location

We had a great time at Jim's property in Cape Woolamai.Jim was very friendly and responsive, even through the peak holiday period. He was very accommodating. The house felt like an old family home but was in good condition and was perfect for the family. The kitchen was well equipped with some of the essentials in the pantry and plenty of pots/pans/plates/bowls etc. The kids playroom was perfect for the kids, with a wide selection of games and movies. There were plenty of beds for everyone to sleep and 1 bathroom and an en suite. The house is within walking distance to the family friendly and surf beaches, and there is a warm outdoor shower to wash off before entering the house. A note that linen is not provided, which was absent from the listing at the time of booking. Overall we had a great stay and would stay again.

A Home away from Home

My family and I had a great short getaway in Phillip Island. The house has all the creature comforts of home and the rooms are a great size! My children loved the rumpus room and my husband and I loved the fact that we had an ensuite and a seperate lounge room to ourselves. Loved the retro pots although some new frying pans would be a good idea as the Teflon has worn off and our bacon and eggs were sticking no matter how much oil/butter I used. There was quite a few cobwebs around the windows and back entrances which we had to clean with the broomstick as we couldn't hang the clothes out unless this was done. Otherwise we had a great stay and enjoyed our brief time at the house. Would love to come back and stay again as it would be an ideal home to stay in with 2 families.

Fantastic location within easy walking distance to safe bay beach which was great for swimming at high tide and great for exploring rock pools at low tide. Surf beach not far away and just stunning. The house was an "oldie but a goodie", clean, cosy and well equipped. Can't wait to stay again!
