Full reno now completed in kitchen (including dishwasher) and living/dining area - polished floor boards in living room/hallway, new paint + new carpet in bedrooms.

FSC & centrally located, this 3 bedroom holiday home has all modern conveniences, with private back yard, big under cover gas/wood BBQ area + U/C Pool table & darts + modern bathroom.

Everything in this place works (Yes it does!) and is here to make your stay enjoyable and stress free! Ride bikes in safe streets + in local park 5 mins walk away.

Fully furnished with quality queen beds in 2 bedrooms, 3 single beds + foldaway in third bedroom.
"Orford Escape" is peaceful, would suit families and couples, and is visitor approved. Maximum of 8 people staying with 5 adults maximum per stay.

Pets are welcome, however they are not permitted inside bedrooms of the residence. They can sleep inside the laundry if required + the backyard is enclosed.

45 minutes from Hobart Airport, and one hour from Hobart.

Orford is the gateway to the world famous Freycinet National Park, including breathtaking Wineglass Bay and historic Maria Island.
Minimum 2 night stay. Available year round.

We loved our stay at Orford Escape. The location was ideal for jumping on our bikes and strolling to the beach. The facilities were perfect for our family. Secure and fun backyard for our kids to play in, the house was clean and had all the things required for a week long stay.

We had a great stay. Location was good for walks, the park, beach and the stores.We were disappointed there was no WiFi as listed but life went on.Plenty of room for 3 teens, a mum and ourpuppy

Always glad people enjoyed their stay. Wi-Fi is listed as being available at local cafes & eateries up the entire East Coast of Tassie, not at the residence. Also would have good if the guests had have adhered to the no pets to access to bedrooms etc, which was communicated prior to their stay. I paid my cleaner extra.

Had a lovely sunny weekend in Orford. House was close to beach and walks. Great backyard for a dog and kids loved the pool table.

Fantastic family getaway

We enjoyed four nights with a 6yo and 2yo during the school holidays. It was toasty warm thanks to the wood heater on the rainy days, and so close to playgrounds and the beach when the sun came out! Enclosed yard was a bonus, along with the board games.

True relaxing shack getaway for all the family. Everything you need and plenty to keep you occupied. Beautiful polished boards and nice new kitchen and bathroom but it doesn’t loose its feel of the era it belongs too. Great for the dog who loved the yard and the outdoor areas. Also a very tasty nectarine tree in the garden. Would stay again.

A sunny little place

Perfect Beach House!

Beautifully maintained and renovated beach house. Everything we needed as a family of 5 to relax and enjoy Orford. Walking distance to beach, river and shops. House was spotlessly clean and the new kitchen Reno was fantastic. Loved lying out on the grass, we utilised the under cover BBQ area to play cards and had many games of table tennis. Thanks to Rob for providing the perfect house for our trip to Orford!

Very relaxing place with a great bbq area and fenced in yard for the little ones. Close to shops and the bike park just up the road. Nicely renovated bathroom and comfy new couches in the lounge. Thanks Rob would happily stay again.
