Cute cabin with a beautiful view! Stayed here for two nights with my boyfriend and another couple. We fit comfortably in the small cabin, and I was pleasantly surprised it was one and a half baths. We enjoyed going kayaking on the lake and hiking at Winslow State Park.
We had a wonderful experience at this chalet in Bradford. Extremely cozy and beautifully decorated, the space provided all the comfort we were looking for. The view is simply unforgettable, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the scenery. The location is excellent, with easy access to Sunapee Ski Resort, just 15 minutes away, making the chalet a great choice for those wanting to explore the area.Highly recommend it, and we’ll definitely be back soon! Thank you so much, Jason, for your impeccable hospitality.
A cozy, clean (nice bathrooms, towels, and kitchen), and reasonably equipped accommodation for families. Convenient location for skiing (close to two ski resorts), beautiful lake view - especially sunrise.
Amenities work - hot water, nice heating (owner left a couple of heaters just in case, although the A/C unit does its job very well).
Lastly, owner is super nice and responds to questions/emails.
An enjoyable vacation abode.
This was our best vacation yet! Love the use of kayaks! Such a cozy at home feel @ the cottage! Very quiet lake, felt like we had the lake to ourselves at times! Had all amenities you'll need. Great view from fire pit area! Enjoyed fishing, kayaking trying paddleboard, and swimming. Thank you so much for the best week! Want to go back already!
This is my new favorite spot!! The sunrises were some of the most magical ones I have ever seen. No hije, I had to wear my sunglasses, inside, to make coffee in the morning. Gorgeous!
Jason is wonderful! Very sweet and responded instantly!
The cabin is perfect! I love the vintage feel with the modern amenities. I hated to leave and will be back again. Now….if I could only convince Jason to let me live there full time…😁
Thank you for my stay!!
The lake is beautiful and the cabin is well-appointed. Just right for a couple. The fall colors were amazing! Jason was very easy to get a hold of with any questions.
The house was well equipped except the pillows could be better quality and adding dish towels would be helpful. The stove works but certainly needs an upgrade. Lastly, the screen door needs serious repair! The view and setting at the fire pit was fabulous. Just needs a few upgrades to improve the overall quality. Enjoyed our stay.
Absolutely loved the cabin & the lake. Not too remote to be able to get groceries or dine out, but remote enough to feel peaceful. Love the retro appliances, being able to drink the water (and we are picky) but still having the modern a/c, grill, toaster oven & wifi. Just be warned if you are a TV junkie there is not one so bring a laptop or tablet to stream.
Lively location had initial issues that were quickly resolved. Appliances need updating. Loved the lake and water activities. Jason is an excellent host.
Owner/Host was super responsive and helpful as needed but we didn't need much at all. Nice well kept cottage with a cozy feel. Peaceful place to be with beautiful views and good location for lots of activities if you want to do something other than just chill out.
Great little cabin on the lake. It is close to the main road but that is a plus in the winter as we arrived during a storm and had no issues with the driveway. The house is a great size for a couple, and the bed was very comfortable. Appliances are somewhat dated but had no issues using them. Bathrooms were perfectly nice, master bath was recently updated. Only con is no dish towels in the kitchen, bring some if you are going to be doing any major cooking/cleaning up. A nice place to get away for the weekend. Henniker Brewing has some great beers nearby for those into that kind of thing.
Had a great peaceful stay. As others have said, kitchen has everything you could need, and the promptness of Jason's replies to questions is fantastic!. This location is central to many of the surrounding areas, and the lakeview can't be beat.
Thankful to have had the experience of staying in Jason’s cozy cabin on the beautiful Lake Massasecum- surrounded by small mountains and beautiful trees. We stayed in the winter and it was so serene, I can only imagine how incredible it would be in the summer! The interior of the cabin looked newly furnished but still had some vestiges from the past as a great touch. We appreciated the many windows allowing us to get a perfect view of the lake. Jason’s speedy communication was right on point and really helpful and he took extra steps to ensure we found his property smoothly. Everything we needed was there. This cabin gave me the feeling I was truly in a getaway. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your Red Little Wing cabin!
I was so happy to find this gem on the lake for a fall long weekend getaway. The cabin had everything we needed to cook meals and had probably the most comfortable bed ever. Really, when you think of it beds can make or break a trip. After the second night I was peeking under the sheet to find out who made the bed. Big thumbs up for great sleep. Loved the fire pit as well.
Perfect spot. Clean. Relaxing. Incredible view. Kitchen is fully stocked. Linens/towels fresh and clean. Beds comfortable. Lake is beautiful and easily accessible if don't have problems walking down the stairs. 3 kayaks were used daily. Owner responses were immediate. Would definitely return.
This was a great place for our long weekend away. Close to hiking, and the view of the lake was breathtaking. There were so many thoughtful touches, everything was explained clearly in the guestbook, and we felt right at home. We had a beautiful time kayaking in the early morning!
Little Red Wing is a cute little cabin on lake massasecum. We checked in and were amazed at the view of the lake. It’s very close to Sunapee and some great hiking trails. The lake is quiet and we were able to kayak and canoe which were already at the cabin. Overall the stay was excellent, accommodations very clean and comfortable, having A/c was a huge plus. We are already thinking when we can get back
Very quaint cottage, more than adequately supplied for the kitchen and any other needs. View of lake best feature. Very clean and owner very accessible for questions. Would definitely return.
Really nice spot on a Great Lake. Close enough to a grocery store and a few restaurants for convenience. Cozy cabin as pictured. Plenty of water craft to enjoy your stay. Would stay here again.
Only 1.20hr drive from Portsmouth, this idyllic cabin on the lake is just what we needed to unwind. Gorgeous lake views, newly remodeled kitchen and clean rustic hardwood floors throughout. It's like a cozy tiny house on the water. We will be returning to Little Red Wing again and again for fall foliage, summer swimming/canoeing and winter skiing only minutes away. Fire pit on the bluff was the perfect place to enjoy cocktails before stoking up the grill overlooking lake massasecum. Loved it.
A small group of four friends rented this cabin for two nights as a weekend getaway from Boston. It’s an adorable cabin with a updated retro feel. Only 10 minutes from Pats Peak! We had a great time, the only thing I will say is that during the winter, make sure you do not drive further than the plowed section of the loop where the cabin is on. We got a bit turned around and kept going past the cabin and ended up getting stuck in the snow. Thankfully, AAA came out in the morning and towed us out and we were so close to the cabin that it really wasn’t a huge issue. We would definitely consider coming back in the summer to enjoy the lake. The location is amazing!
