Stratford Cottage is a lovely play to stay - thoughtfully curated to ensure comfort during your stay from the a/c and central heating to the very comfortable beds. The kitchen was excellent for some communal cooking. The yard was perfect for a picnic and well enclosed to keep our curious dog bounded. The instructions and documentation for the property were complete and clear. We had a lovely time and hope to visit again. Hugely recommended.
The cottage is old world charm yet not at the expense of convenience comfort and cleanliness

Gorgeous little cottage - we had a lovely weekend with our daughter and dogs. The dining/back room is perfect to see the sun come up (and the local kangaroos) and relax during the day while the cosy living room and fireplace is ideal in the evenings. The garden is beautiful too - would be great in summer. Thank you!
We had an amazing time, a beautiful cottage close to shops and walks. It was perfect for my corgi. Loved sitting in front of the fire, very cozy. Very clear instructions prior to check in. Thanks Pauline!

I agree, the fire is really cozy.
The walks are also good -- some of them are not too hard.
I hope that you will stay again

We had an absolutely lovely weekend at Stratford cottage. Communication with Pauline was exceptional. The additional information provided about places to eat and walk (particularly the dog friendly options) were very much appreciated. Every room in the cottage is well equipped from the kitchen to the bedrooms and bathroom. Cleanliness and comfort were two standouts. The crazy weather saw us able to light the fire on our first night, sit in the sunshine for breakfast the next morning and then apply copious amounts of sunscreen during our walks. The garden was heaven for my apartment dwelling dog.I genuinely recommend this gem of a cottage and would be happy to stay again.

Thank you for your detailed and complimentary review, Natasha.
You never know what the weather will bring at the mountains and it can change quite quickly.
I am glad you found the cottage comfortable and relaxing and do hope that you will book again.
The garden is great for the dogs as they can go right around the house and explore as it is fully fenced as long as the front and side gates are locked.
We were really impressed by the comfort, warmth and cleanliness of this property. All communication with the owner was prompt and informative, we appreciated the great suggestions which we followed for walks, sights and places to eat. Our dog felt very welcome and catered for too. Will definitely be back!

Thanks for your review, Hannah. I am glad that my tips of where to go and what to do worked for you and your family.
There is quite a lot to do at Mt Victoria, and it is not as busy as further down the mountain.
We had the loveliest weekend at Pauline’s cottage. It was even prettier than it looked in the pictures, and was really well set up for our family of 4 and dog. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen and great shower/bath. Would definitely book to stay here again.

So pleased you enjoyed your stay Ariane.
We had the cottage painted inside and out since the photos on the website were taken but our life has been hectic and so we haven't changed them over yet.
I hope that you and your family will stay again.

We love staying at this cottage. It felt like home away from home. With its country style, well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds and lovely dinning / sun room. It was cold outside, but the fireplace and central heating gave the place a very cosy feeling. The neighbourhood felt safe and the small garden was big enough for my dog to enjoy a good explore. Mt Victoria, even though the climate is colder, it is well positioned to visit the hinterlands and other locations in the Blue Mountains. Walks from the cottage are very convenient and picturesque.

We had a wonderful stay - such a charming cottage with everything you would need. Had the most beautiful yard for our dog Molly. Location was perfect, with some great walks to do.
We really enjoyed our stay in this cosy and clean cottage. Close to lots of walks. Convenient to visit Blackheath and Katoomba but much quieter.

It is a cosy little cottage and we love the fact that you can stay in Mt Victoria and get to other towns so easily.
As you say, Blackheath and Katoomba are very close but you can also go the other way to Little Hartley and Lithgow.

Hi Cathie,
I am glad that you enjoyed your stay.
Being a heritage listed cottage we try hard to maintain it, but the harsh weather conditions means that we are constantly doing some maintenance.
Hope you will continue to stay with us
Best wishes
Great family friendly (including dogs) place to stay in the Blue Mountains. Close to all the attractions (walking tracks, spas, boutique shopping, galleries and eateries etc.) that the BM has on offer.

I am glad that you and your lovely dog enjoyed the weekend away.
A real luxury to sit in front of the fire with a glass of vino.
As you say, who knows when any of us will get away again.
Let's hope that the virus won't be as devastating in Australia as it has been overseas.
When we can finally travel again I hope you will return to Stratford cottage again.
