The cabin was very clean and had all modern amenities, the children loved waking up and feeling the horses. Very close to all landmarks and wineries , Every evening we lit the fire pit
Had a great weekend with friends. The place was lovely, comfortable and had just enough amenities to make for a truly wonderful experience.

A great getaway with the family, the firepit of an evening was perfect. The kids loved the horses and their was loads of space outside to kick the ball around. The property was neat, warm and well looked after, and the hosts very responsive.

Hello Kathryn, Thank you for your 5 star review on Clydesdale Cottage. Hope you stay with Weekenda again in the future. Weekenda Team
We enjoyed our stay and were happy, but the online photos are deceiving. The furniture is a bit dated, the bathroom old and especially the outdoor setting was unusable. The seat covers were ripped and dirty and the seats were broken, which was a real shame. For that price we expected it a bit nicer, but overall we had a nice stay.

Family cottage close to Cellar doors.
Nice place to stay for family close to Cellar doors and everything Hunter valley has to offer. We were disappointed that there was no outdoor fire pit as advertised as this was one of the main reasons we booked. Glad we didn’t buy firewood as advised in email. Horses were nice to pat when we could call them over and they could get close enough when gates were open to them.

Hi Kathryn,
Thank you for your feedback. We're glad you enjoyed the location and the horses. We apologise for the missing outdoor fire pit and any inconvenience this caused. We'll ensure our listings are updated to reflect the current amenities accurately.
Best regards,
Weekenda Reservations Team
Good little property that is tucked away behind the vineyards in the Hunter with friendly horses on the property. They did not look like Clydesdales though. Good out door area for dogs to run and play and enclosed indoor dining area as shelter from the rain. The decor and property was a bit dated and lacked enough kitchen ware for the number of guests we booked for. If the property is updated a bit more, we would certainly return on a regular basis as the location suited our liking.

Great location- within 8km of main attractions. Easy check in process and very true to description/images on listing. Our children enjoyed the property, particularly the horses and early morning rabbits. Would definitely book again in the future

Thanks for the lovely review, Rosey! We look forward to having you stay again :)
Property was well kept and easy to access. It was lovey to be able to see and pat the horses. I wouldn’t want to take the kids there as the yard has bad bindies and big burs and you wouldn’t want to be outside without shoes or fall over.
There was not enough toilet paper left and very small rubbish bin in the kitchen with no garbage bag refills.
Overall though, the stay was lovely.

Hi Tegan, thank you for your review. Unfortunately bindis and burs are common place in the Hunter Valley, good tip for future guests to be diligent! Thank you for outlining the shortcomings in the rubbish system. We hope to host you again in the future!
