We had a great stay at Lucias Cottage. The location couldn’t be any better, and the property had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
Highly recommend!
The cottage was great with excellent facilities. We enjoyed our stay - plenty of this is just perfect especially when sitting in the back area including outside courtyard
A wonderful home for a family getaway, especially for young children. Location was brilliant, walking distance to everything you’re after and food from the Retro Vibe next door was delicious! Certainly recommend for a weekend or longer trip away.
This house is a great place to stay for relaxing, comfort and easy access to the sweetness of Port Elliot and surrounds. It covered all the needs for our small group.
Our stay at Lucia's Cottage was excellent. It is situated with an easy walk of the shops, beaches and lookouts. The cottage was clean, cosy and perfect for our stay in Pt Elliot. Thankyou
Perfectly situated in Port Elliot with all attractions and amenities within walking distance. Private, spacious and contemporary. Nice outdoor space. Good off-street parking.
Excellent value for money. Great for couples or a family.
Spent the weekend at the proerty with some friends for some much-needed rest and relaxation. The Commumication with the host was great, and seamless. The location of the property is very central to all the things you want to see and do.
Great location and beautiful little cottage. We enjoyed the outdoor area and dart board very much!
Very good value for money. We will definitely book this property again. ..Thankyou Wendy
Over 10 years between our stays at Lucia's and we loved it! Great house, big kitchen and bathroom. The location is perfect, we walked to where we needed in the main street. We will be back. Thanks again!
Property was clean and well presented
We thought that there would be hand towels bathroom and kitchen
Instructions for coffee maker
Bedroom configuration unusual
Overall great location, good property and we were generally happy with it
We had a short stay of 3 days.. but could not be happier with the location ..right in the heart of Pt Elliott…we could walk to everything we needed ..shops, cafes , hotels and restaurants..
Our accommodation was immaculately clean. And presented very well. The outdoor area, with the walled garden we loved.. again beautifully kept. A credit to the owner..
Thankyou for hosting us Wendy… we hope to be back soon.

Liked: Check-in, location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Cleanliness
Lovely location lacked in cleanliness
We found this property quite easily and first impressions were very good, crumbs on the couch were not well received! We thought the bathroom facilities were fine for two but anymore in the booking would have found it difficult, minimal towel hanging and the toilet leaked after just two nights.
We try to book the same cottage every year. As it’s walking distance to cafes, restaurants, hotels and eclectic shops..
Lucia’s Cottage, is a well loved stay. The very private back garden area, is a suntrap..with chairs, sun lounge and table. It reminds us of a Tuscan courtyard. With its hand built walled garden…and many plants.
The extension on the back of the cottage, gives a modern kitchen dining and tv room, perfect for our needs. It’s not a deal breaker, but maybe a small mobile clothes rack in the bedrooms. We loved our stay. And will be back, hopefully soon. Thankyou to our host Wendy.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
Great location
Located within easy walking distance of all of Port Elliot’s attractions- Main Street, Horseshoe Bay and cockle train - we were disappointed with the level of consumables provided. We understood that we had to bring our own linen, but we weren’t aware that we also needed to supply soap, shampoo and conditioner. There were also very limited kitchen supplies, whilst we do not expect a full pantry, we have always welcomed basic supplies such as cereal and milk, in other short term rentals we have used.

Thanks for your feedback… we’re disappointed too, as we nearly always achieve 5-star reviews from people who really love our property. It’s a beach-house not a hosted BnB and we have never ever had feedback on ‘lacking consumables’ in over 15 years of operating a holiday rental. We do note your booking request indicated only one person staying… As there were others obviously staying, we would have appreciated your accurate communication.
Had a thoroughly enjoyable stay in the heart of Port Elliot in a lovely setting. Four adults stayed and we all agreed we would be more than happy to stay there again. A very well-equipped and very clean cottage with a beautiful courtyard out the back. Uncovered though. Might be an issue during rain.
Only complaint: no cloths hanging facility in each bedroom. A simple Ikea cloths rack would suffice.
We enjoyed our stay, great location and nice place. The only downside was it was raining the whole time and there’s no cover at all out the back (nice verandah frame but no cloth or sheets to give a covered outdoor area) so we couldn’t spend much time out there. The front has a small undercover area but the down pipe from the gutter just runs in to the stones and pools water all where that area so it gave us no real outside place to relax and enjoy the rain.
