Summary:

Wild Rose Cottage (named by the original owner), is a renovated 1960’s cottage with a recently added self contained studio perfect as a couples retreat.

Located just 100m approx to the Sailing club at the river and a 10 min walk to the beach.



The Space:

Wake up with coffee in the morning sun by the fruit trees then take a leisurely five minute stroll to the wharf for brunch at Hectors or to browse the Sunday morning markets. After a day at the beach, enjoy a glass of wine at Inbiss or the Sailing Club or perhaps Hay St Bar and Kitchen. With so much at your fingertips, there’s really no need to move the car from the driveway.



This studio is located ant the rear of the property behind the cottage. It includes a queen bed, kitchenette with some cooking facilities but no oven, a lovely bathroom with a deep bath tub and shower(over the bath), dining table and couch for relaxing and any tv viewing.



The fully fenced backyard features a veggie patch (you’re welcome to help yourself to whatever’s growing), a fire pit for the cooler months and plenty of space to spread out, fire up the BBQ and enjoy a relaxed afternoon.

Feel free to bring one well behaved non shedding dog with you. There is an additional charge for this privilege.

You’ll have full access to the rear yard but please note that the owners may occupy the main house at times which could overlap your stay. They will only be using the front yard and have no access to any areas you are using during your stay.



Other Things to Note:

This is a very strictly non smoking and vaping property both inside and outside. Non compliance with this will result in fines of $250.

No parties, no schoolies.

Must be 25 years of age to book.

One well behaved non-shedding dog is allowed on holiday with you, but please let us know beforehand. A $85 pet fee will be payable. Sorry, no cats. Dogs are not allowed on furniture or in bedrooms.



Our properties are fully self-contained and we supply starter provisions consisting of laundry powder, dish liquid, dishwasher tablets, a dish cloth, bin liners, milk, coffee, tea, sugar, olive oil, salt and pepper, as well as bathroom amenities (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and soap). A spare roll of toilet paper is provided per toilet. Please note that these complimentary provisions are supplied to get you started for your holiday and are not replenished during your stay. We provide bathroom linen for the number of guests included in your booking only. Please bring your own beach towels. Bathroom linen is strictly not to be used for the beach.



A 25% deposit is required upon booking confirmation, which includes a non-refundable $30 payment processing fee. The remaining balance is due 7 days before your stay. Additionally, a pre-check-in form must be completed before arrival, which includes submitting a valid ID, a selfie, and agreeing to our terms and conditions. Pricing reflects standard occupancy and associated household use. Accurate guest numbers must be confirmed prior to arrival to ensure the home is prepared and serviced accordingly.



Interaction with Guests:

You’ll have the house to yourselves, but we won’t be far away should you need anything.
