Bright, modern newly refurbished open plan 1 bedroom shack, perfect place for a couple wanting a relaxing weekend away.

Stroll down to the towns Alfresco cafe, shops, restaurants & Murray River or simply relax at home with a BBQ.

Equipped with a kitchenette that provides a microwave, air fryer and hot plate (no oven) modern furniture inside & out. Two entertaining areas with BBQ and Webber. Note w/c is under main roof, access from side carport.

This shack caters for humans and their pets offering a large fully enclosed yard with ample parking space for cars and boats. Side carport with side access into home. No WIFI sorry!

Explore the Fleurieu Peninsulas many tourist attractions from food and wine trials + markets to fantastic cycle rides. Port Elliot to Victor Harbour are in close driving distance or leave the car at home and take the Cockle Train to either town and explore on foot.

Next door 1 bedroom stone cottage available for rent too. Great opportunity to combine family holidays alongside each other. Own private yard and pet friendly. Message me re booking (The Old Cottage & the shack as a package)

It was a great stay and helpful to extend a day at short notice. The layout of the cabin was quirky and it’s lucky we are not too fussed about tv as you had to peer over a high kitchen bench to see the quite small tv. The mattress was a bit lumpy after 3 nights and it wasn’t the greatest going outside to the toilet on a cold night. On the plus side the fully fenced yard was fantastic for our dog who just loved being able to run around the large yard freely. Great poster of the history of boat builders (we assume family) from the Goolwa area. Overall we enjoyed our stay thanks Nat

The shack was an enjoyable stay . Walking distance to the wharf , cafes and pub . Quiet location , all fenced off with a big yard for your furbaby to run around in . Would definitely recommend and will definitely be staying there again 🙂

Brilliant little cottage

I absolutely loved my stay at The Shack. It was perfectly located and perfectly sweet. My two Jack Russell's loved running zoomies around the yard. Great two days, wish I'd booked more!

Weekend getaway

The Shack was just as it was listed and just perfect for our stay. It was spotlessly clean. The added bonus was the fenced area which our dogs loved playing in. We will be back for sure.

Neat little bundle!

Lovely little place with a generous yard. Walking distance to town. Clean and tidy. No actual kitchen but all appliances to get the cooking done are provided. Loved our stay!

very clean and tidy - I would like to suggest a simple coat stand to hang a few items on - Bunning a simple bamboo one small enough to fit by the window where the stool were. Other than that everything was great Thankyou

Perfect low maintenance pet friendly get away. Located within walking distance to Main Street. Safe yard for our dog. Condition of property is exactly as advertised- no surprises. Communication from host was absolutely impeccable. Would definitely stay again.

Trip to the Coorong

"The Shack" was a quaint little cottage within walking distance to all local sights and shops. Plenty of natural habitats for the local flora and fauna. The only thing negative i would say about it is that there could have been more kitchen utensils and cookware items. As we are of an age where we prefer eating indoors than at outdoor establishments. We both enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend it to our friends.

The Shack

Lovely little property. Pet friendly secure fencing. I was in desperate need of tourist info. Maps and what to do. Food places. Nothing was immediatley visible in the unit. First stop was the info centre in town. I eventually found some tourist info tucked away in a cupboard. This should be visible for all visitors as soon as you enter. I had to contact the property manager on arrival as I wasn't sure how to get in. I probably should have been informed the key would be located under the mat. Couple of hiccups, but lovely couple of days.

Finding reasonably priced pet friendly accomodation is always challenging but the shack nails it, so i keep coming back. My dog is always very relaxed there too. Thank you, Will stay again soon :)
