THE SHACK - GOOLWA CENTRAL

Bright, modern newly refurbished open plan 1 bedroom shack, perfect place for a couple wanting a relaxing weekend away.

Stroll down to the towns Alfresco cafe, shops, restaurants & Murray River or simply relax at home with a BBQ.

Equipped with a kitchenette that provides a microwave, air fryer and hot plate (no oven) modern furniture inside & out. Two entertaining areas with BBQ and Webber. Note w/c is under main roof, access from side carport.

This shack caters for humans and their pets offering a large fully enclosed yard with ample parking space for cars and boats. Side carport with side access into home. No WIFI sorry!

Explore the Fleurieu Peninsulas many tourist attractions from food and wine trials + markets to fantastic cycle rides. Port Elliot to Victor Harbour are in close driving distance or leave the car at home and take the Cockle Train to either town and explore on foot.

Next door 1 bedroom stone cottage available for rent too. Great opportunity to combine family holidays alongside each other. Own private yard and pet friendly. Message me re booking (The Old Cottage & the shack as a package)

A fantastic place to stay! The location was perfect for walking to the main street and wharf. Spotlessly clean and tidy. Everything we needed for our stay. Our doggo also thoroughly enjoyed the large enclosed yard to run around in. Bonus seeing the Cockle Train go past regularly! We will be back!

It was a great stay and helpful to extend a day at short notice. The layout of the cabin was quirky and it’s lucky we are not too fussed about tv as you had to peer over a high kitchen bench to see the quite small tv. The mattress was a bit lumpy after 3 nights and it wasn’t the greatest going outside to the toilet on a cold night. On the plus side the fully fenced yard was fantastic for our dog who just loved being able to run around the large yard freely. Great poster of the history of boat builders (we assume family) from the Goolwa area. Overall we enjoyed our stay thanks Nat
