Ideally located within a 10 minute walk of the bustling Norwood Parade, 10 minute drive to the city. Convenient to local public transport.

This gorgeous home is situated in an ideal location to take advantage of the cosmopolitan lifestyle. Walk to the intimate cafes, gift and antique shops that line Magill Rd or mosey a little further to the fabulous shopping and dining precinct of The Parade Norwood.

Quiet Adelaide cottage

We had a delightful stay in this lovely three bedroom cottage. The house was clean and comfortable with good air conditioning for the hot Adelaide summer. It accommodated six adults really well and we enjoyed the outdoor dining space and the convenience of the location.

Comfortable house

Quiet neighbourhood convenient for shops and a very nice pub. Saha is great for breakfast and Maylands for dinner. Good shower, washing machine and heating. Solid accommodation for our short stay.

All went really well with the House, it was very comfortable and supplied with everything we needed, great having 2 bathrooms and we appreciated being able to include our puppy for the stay.

A wonderful place to stay!

The property was exactly as described and absolutely lovely and exceeded our expectations. The owner was very easy to deal with and we couldn’t have asked for anywhere better to stay. Highly recommend and would love to stay there again!

Beautiful bluestone cottage

We booked for the weekend, and had a fabulous time! The outdoor entertaining space was perfect for our cheese platters and wine overlooking the lovely garden. Highly recommended.

Perfect location and little oasis near the city

We needed a house to stay with the family and little pup for a week while our daughter played in an AFL carnival at different grounds in Adelaide. The cottage was the perfect location for us and was so nice to come home to every night to.

Peaceful retreat

We loved our stay at the cottage. Very peaceful street, amazing backyard with beautiful plants and amazing lemon tree. Very clean and well presented and everything you need is there. Would absolutely recommend to others.

Family stay just outside of Adelaide with our doggie

The home is great and it does feel like a home, the back yard is beautiful and secure. Loved the style of the home, the location was so great could walk to restaurants, shops and parks. Was a easy drive into the cbd, yes the parking was tight at the property but it’s the same for every property around the area. Great price and value for money, you can tell the difference that it’s owned and managed by its owner.

Maylands holiday cottage

Margie went out of her way to help us during and after our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this quaint cottage for the week, and particularly enjoyed being able to walk to the wonderful Norwood Parade for cafes, restaurants and the cinema. Our dog loved the big backyard and the house itself was beautifully decorated and very spacious for our family to stay in. Would definitely recommend it for all future guests and would love to stay here again in the future. Thanks Margie again for all your help m. 😀

Comfortable

Great location, comfortable stay however property needs some updating - old tv couldn’t stream, old oven dials popped off, terrible design of bath/shower resulting in excess water overflowing onto floor/around toilet. Owner unexpectedly just turned up and nosey neighbor next door did same - all a bit odd.

Ssssh! Don't tell anyone ....

about this little oasis on the edge of the city.  Maylands Cottage is a great base from which to explore Adelaide and its surrounds.  For the cost of a hotel room we had a wonderful three bedroom cottage with gorgeous garden in which to relax - it was like having your own home just in another city.  For a self-catering break the kitchen was perfect with a wide range of accessories to support cooking and the Nespresso machine was just a bonus.  Especially loved soaking up the sunshine on the back verandah whilst our wee fella played in the back yard.  We'll be back.

Peace and quiet in a lovely home

The accommodation was a mix of older and newer and was just perfect. It felt like I had ended up in a secret magical location. The garden was beautiful. I enjoyed a bath, washed our clothes and then could hang them, had the best sleep, loved all the furniture and furnishings, the generosity of the kitchen crockery etc, the internet and coffee machine. The neighbours were friendly too. The three pets were so relaxed and like me did not want to live. I was lucky enough to meet Margie and she is really nice. Thank you Margie for allowing us to stay. I so want to come back!
