We had a wonderful stay. Our hosts were really responsive. It has everything you need and is a short walk to both shops and beach. There is a lovely pizzeria nearby too. Great rumpus room for the kids to stay in too.
We had the best time at the boulevard house and it served our two families perfectly. It was super clean, had everything you could want in a house AND we could easily walk into town for everything Lorne can offer! A great house, we’ll be back.
The house is in a great location, with a short stroll through the caravan park into the main street. The house is the perfect size with 2 large living areas and great kitchen, and 3 bathrooms. The only downside was the cleanliness. on the surface it looks clean, but the property could so with a deep clean, especially the bathrooms. Overall, we had a lovely time and the owners were amazing, even helping us out with an item left behind!
House was amazing. Amenities, in abundance. Garage converted to bedroom and extra living area was good too until some furry friends decided to join us. Given the area and lots of trees around, the whole property (inside & out) could have done with removing of cobwebs and what lay in them. Otherwise, a great place to stay with friends and family.
The location of the property was great. Central close to shops and alot of attractions such as waterfalls, beach, live wire park.
The only thing we were not happy with was cleanliness as it seemed to be very dusty and not well maintaned.
Also they had pantry items that had an expiry date of 2013 so definitely didnt use anything from the pantry after seeing that. I recommend you bring your own sugar\salt\pepper\oil\tea coffee. They did have a nespresso machine but did not use that either due to the doubt of use by date. If taken care of it is a great property otherwise. We also had an incident of the bathroom leaking water to the room downstairs so before you book do ensure this issue is fixed as we wouldnt want anyone else to experience this.

Very disappointing review.
As far as cleanliness goes, we have received 19 reviews this year, 18 of which have given us 5 stars for cleanliness. Several of them have commented on how clean the house was. We have an excellent cleaner that has been with us for many years - cleanliness is our no 1 priority
The comment about products in the pantry dated back to 2013 is nothing short of ridiculous. For a start, we fully renovated the kitchen 5 years ago and completely restocked the pantry, Secondly, we stay at the house regularly and ensure that all items we supply are within their use by date
The comment about the coffee pods is nonsense - we go through a huge amount of pods and are always restocking them
We also tell our guests to contact us immediately if anything is not up to standard and our cleaner will be there to sort it out in minutes. We did not hear from this guest about any issues.
The guest sent us a message about the water leak from the bathroom. We tried to call her to get more details but she did not answer or return our calls. We had a plumber call around in the morning and he advised that the problem was caused by the guests overfilling the bath and the run off caused the issue. No wonder she didn’t want to talk about it! The plumber has done a full check and there are no ongoing problems - despite the comments by the guest
The entire house was suitably equipped with all of our needs covered including some basic pantry items. It was very clean with very comfortable beds and pillows.
We had a very happy week in this house. It is very comfortable, stylish, well equipped and in a great location, very easy to walk to and from all the shops and beach.
We absolutely loved staying at the Boulevard House. Such a gorgeous, light filled beach home, very well appointed and the perfect size for two families. Location is superb as just a quick walk into the Main Street and beach.
Warm and cosy when we arrived with the fire going, the house was welcoming immediately. The attention to detail in the decor was impressive and yet it was a home you could use and enjoy without being worried. It was a perfect place for a family holiday with our adult children, their partners and grandson. The house is well stocked with crockery, cutlery, utensils.. and generously also many of the basics in the pantry for cooking which made things easier too.We had visits on the balcony from kookaburras and were walking distance from the Main Street of Lorne. It felt like a sanctuary. Sally was so helpful in so many ways- thank you.
Wonderful experience & property owner is lovely to deal with. Very clean, cosy & comfortable stay. Property is well equipped with all the essentials + more. We will definitely be back!
Once we arrived at the property we felt like we were at home. House was so relaxing and clean. Everything was provided even a pretty stacked pantry. We didn’t have to buy a thing, well just milk. Quiet street and not far from the main drag, just a short stroll. Highly recommend this property.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Very modern, comfortable, impeccably clean and very comfy beds. Nice peaceful location and an easy 5 min walk to the Main Street, beach and shops. Loved our stay at this property.
Positive from the contact with the owner until the beautiful property and everything in between. Great location, sparkling modern, clean and beautifully decorated.. So comfortable and warm with a gas log heater and heating in all the rooms. All the comforts you need to unwind, relax and enjoy. Thankyou Brian and Sally. We will definately be back.

We live and work in Melbourne but love to stay in our house in Lorne as much as possible. Since renovating the house we have been working on planting the rock garden at the rear and enjoy seeing the plants flourish over the years. We hope that you appreciate and care for our house as much as we do!
Why they chose this property
We chose this property because it is situated in a peaceful cul-de-sac, overlooking serene bush and magnificent gum trees. From the house you can walk to the beach, main street and the IGA supermarket. We have fully renovated the house adding deep baths in 2 of the bathrooms, a gas fire, stunning kitchen and much more!
What makes this property unique
This house is in a serene area but is still only a few minutes walk to the beach and busy main street with restaurants, cafes and great shopping. With two indoor living areas and two outdoor areas there is plenty of space to relax and enjoy a glass of wine or whatever else you would like to do.
