Sea Rocket 18 is on the second floor on the south side of the building and is completely updated! Come and enjoy a beautiful and relaxing beachfront getaway. This unit features a fully equipped kitchen with granite counter tops, tile backsplash, and full-size stainless steel appliances. A queen-size bed and a sleeper sofa make this space comfortable for up to four guests. This unit also has a full-size bathroom as well. Sea Rocket was built in 1950 and is a gem of a complex located in North Redington Beach where the beach is simply dazzling! Sea Rocket is a small (30 individually owned units) complex where the condos are small, cute, clean and completely furnished and equipped for shorter stays or longer stays. There is also an on-site laundry room. It is a charming, reasonably priced vacation spot just steps from the white powdery sand and pristine water of the Gulf of Mexico. Here you will enjoy breathtaking sunsets, walks on the beach, and fabulous shelling. There is a large covered patio overlooking the beach with plenty of lounge chairs, a BBQ grill, and shuffleboard for use during your stay. Colorful Adirondack chairs are casually placed around the property for reading, snoozing, or socializing with the unique community that is the Sea Rocket! Redington Shores is bordered by North Redington Beach to the north, Madeira Beach to the south, the Intracoastal Waterway to the east, and the Gulf of Mexico to the west. Redington Beach is primarily a waterfront residential community, and the town is approximately 1 square mile in size. The town of North Redington Beach lies in the heart of the sun coast's beach communities halfway between Clearwater to the north and St. Pete Beach to the south. Redington Shores is just 30 minutes from Tampa International Airport and offers easy access to all major cities and attractions in the Tampa Bay area. Home away from home

I am in the Redington area multiple times a year to visit family. I am intentional about staying at small quaint efficiencies on the beach and this unit did not disappoint. The bed was cozy, the shower pressure was great, the appliances were all full size, the closet space was incredible. All my needs were met here. The neighborhood is spectacular with so much to do if you feel like venturing out. But if I’m being honest, it’s hard to leave the beautiful Gulf of Mexico steps from the door. The sunsets never get old…I will be back!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second stay at the Sea Rocket. We enjoy this area and like the quietness of the property. Unfortunately we experienced an issue upon arrival within the unit. The A/C unit was not working so the management company was contacted. By the time they contacted us with their solution we had already fully moved into the unit. We were offered to move to a different unit until the A/C could be repaired or remain in our unit where we could "just turn the fan on and open the windows since it isn't that bad out." Moving did not sound appealing as it was getting later and we had just traveled 24 hours so we stayed put but were not comfortable with the low windows being opened during the night. This seemed like a safety issue to us. Maintenance was able to replace the unit on day 2 of our trip but they also had to come back on the 3rd day to wrap up the job. The maintenance man was incredibly nice and I have nothing negative to say about him personally, but 3 out of our 7 days were inconvenienced by this issue. In addition, I would have assumed that the fully equipped kitchen would include dishes but there were no plates or bowl in the unit and the shower fixture was not in good working condition. The knobs fell off and were difficult to operate correctly. We chose this unit because it was updated but were slightly disappointed with the cleanliness and the malfunctioning of the items discussed above.

I only gave contact a 3 with the prop mang, because I never was in contact with anyone during the whole process, until the end. I checked in “after hours” and hooked online. Property mgmt located close by for easy check-in and out. 10am check out is a little earlier then I have experienced with other rentals. Location of property is fantastic as it’s right on the beach & walking distance to places to eat. I’ would definitely book this place again!

Was given run around when we went to rental office to get keys- employees had no idea what they were doing and argued amongst themselves. Property was nice overall and location is great.

Not clean - poor follow through

We arrived to our rental late and quickly realized that it was not cleaned from the previous renter. The bed was unmade, the kitchen counters were dirty, there were dirty towels in the bathtub, and the previous renter's information packet was still on the table. We attempted to call the "24-hour line" and finally spoke to someone in New Jersey at 11:30 pm who told us "there is nothing we can do." Our vacation was soured from this experience. We went to the rental office the next morning and while all staff members seemed to be "understanding" we were told otherwise by the maintenance department at the unit. Our experience was not the first of a condo not being cleaned and that those who would be cleaning were "sketchy" otherwise. We removed our belongings when it was finally cleaned. We were also guaranteed a return call that day with information about a refund due to our experience. No call was ever received. We did get an email stating we would be getting our cleaning fee refunded however this has yet to come through. After another hour on the phone with the rental company we were told we would be getting a call back, again we wait. We will never stay at a property through this company again. Poor customer service and terrible follow through.
