This was such an amazing trip and one of the highlights was this home. Waking up every morning and walking out to an ocean view like this home has was a highlight of our trip. We loved relaxing on the lanai with coffee watching the ocean. The kids loved the pool and the easy access to the beaches.

Great home for large groups!

This house is perfectly located in Poipu, close to nice beaches and many shops and restaurants. The home has everything you need from beach chairs and towels to coolers to pack your lunches and drinks for the beach.

Great place

The house is great! Very nice set up for 3 families-my husband and I and our 2 adult daughters and their husbands and kids. Beautiful view from the front porch of the sunset and whale spouts! Only disappointment was the hosts promise to prestock a few groceries which didn’t happen.

Great place for a large family!

Our stay was fantastic - plenty of room for large groups, and check-in was seamless. The kitchen was fully stocked and instructions and suggestions were all very helpful. A couple of the doors were a little tricky to unlock & open, but that was fine, and the pool did need a quick cleaning of leaves, but that was also easily taken care of. Would absolutely stay here again!

Panoramic Views Just Across the Road from the Ocean

Reviewer Comments: Absolutely beautiful home inside and out offering lots of space for our 3 generation family and we didn’t even use the ohana, which itself was beautiful and spacious. The location was right across the street for easy access to fishing every day and just down the street for an easy walk to a beautiful snorkeling opportunity and beach. 5 minute drive to Poipu beach for sea turtles and Hawaiian monks seal viewing along with snorkeling, swimming, and fishing. Beautiful shopping center just a 5 minute walk away with great restaurants and stores along with daily Lappert’s ice cream and shave ice opportunities.

The PERFECT location

We stayed here with friends for 4 nights and had THE BEST time. The location was perfect for watching sunrises and sunsets from the front porch. We even had sea turtles and dolphins show up in the water right in front of the house! The front porch could not have been better for spending time together while listening to the ocean. The kitchen was more than adequately stocked. All 3 couples commented on how comfortable the beds were and even looked up the brand of pillows and sheets. Would highly recommend this location for the proximity to shopping, dining, and the beach. Would definitely stay again!

House Perfect for Our Family

We took our three sons, three daughter-in-laws and toddler grandkids to this excellently laid out house with a pool and separate guest quarters. The kitchen & house fit our large group with ease, but we spent most of our time on the expansive front porch with a stunning ocean view. Would totally rent this house again!

Big group vacation

The house was the best fit for our large group. We traveled with two families (4 adults, 5kids, all under 10 … youngest 2yo) Plenty of room for kids to be entertained in and outside, while staying on the property. The private pool was awesome for the kids to play any time of the day. The house is stocked well with beach gear and kitchen gadgets. For our group, the “cottage” was just right to set up our little one for naps, without worrying about noise from the rest of the party (our monitor signal worked throughout the house) And the views were spectacular!

Beautiful home

This home is beautiful and great for a large group. We were celebrating our anniversary with our 3 grown children and their spouses and there was ample room for all 8 of us, We particularly enjoyed the large lanai with generous tables and seating with a beautiful view of the ocean and sunsets (and whales!). The living room also had lots of seating and dining table for 8. Nice, central location for Poipu area.

Perfect house

It was Christmas week in Hawaii. Hawaii is majestic and gorgeous. The house was lovely. DO NOT go to Hawaii during Christmas. Armies of tourists overwhelm the loveliness of everything. Restaurant reservations are meager to none. Beaches very crowded. There is, as everywhere, an extreme lack of help. One restaurant owner told us, after a 30 min wait to order, that she was employing homeless to handle her kitchen.. all of this said, I will go back at a different time of year.

From check in to check out our stay was perfect. The house is beautiful with gorgeous floors and doors. The rooms are generously sized and appointed with all the amenities you could want. I especially appreciated how well stocked the kitchens and baths were. Probably the best of any rental I’ve had. The front porch is everything you could want. It is large with plenty of seating. But the views, especially at sunset, are perfect. People gather nearby for the views; they are that great. Our three generations found the house to be a perfect fit. The pool is not large but it is just right for our grandkids aged 5-10. Just right for the adults too! We didn’t get a chance to visit the Athletic Club but appreciate that it was available. Even in ten days we didn’t get to visit everywhere we wanted. I highly recommend this house. It is well-taken care of and very comfortable.

An Exceptional Home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was an excellent home to accommodate our three-generation family for a week. The two spacious wings and separate casita provided ample space and private bathrooms. The location just minutes from Poipu Beach, restaurants, and shopping made it easy to explore. We especially appreciated the beach chairs, towels, umbrella, and toys. We also loved having access to Poipu Beach Club, playing with the kids and enjoying poolside drinks in the afternoon. Overall, this home is one of the most amazing places we have stayed. It is exceptionally clean and well stocked, and the owners clearly invested attention to the beautiful island décor and furnishings. Our favorite places to relax at the end of the day were the secluded pool grotto and the front porch overlooking the ocean where we watched humpback whales as the sun set, often with takeout dinner from the Holoholo Grill which is just steps away. We highly recommend this home for a wonderful stay on Kauai.

Great view, spacious home

Our group was two families, including two 13-year olds and two 9-year olds. This house worked great for us. The main house has two oceanview king bed primary suites with bathrooms connected (one suite had a bigger bathroom, but we found the bedrooms equally nice), plus a garden view kids room with two twins. Our youngest kids stayed there. The separate ohana suite is large - more like it’s own one bedroom apartment with separate living g/kitchen. Our 13 year olds stayed in there and thought they’d gone to heaven, with such a grown up, separate space. Note that the ohana bedroom is a queen bed. My only wish was that the ohana had a direct connection to the house, or even into the private yard/pool area; instead, it has a separate entrance from the driveway, which made us a bit nervous at night since we wanted to lock all the doors, and this locked out kids out :). This would work totally great for another couple or even a family. Management of the property was very responsive and accommodating. We found the house location excellent - easy access to shops, beaches, and a front row seat to sunsets. We easily walked the five minutes to Kiahuna Beach, one of our favorites. We would definitely rent again!

The entire property was amazing. I am always skeptical of the postings online and what you actually get but this ended up being a perfect home for us. We had 10 people total and it was plenty of room. The kitchen is very well equipped. They had plenty of beach toys/equipment for the kids as well.

Dreamy Front Porch!

We absolutely loved the property. Amazing location. Walkable to so many restaurants, shops, and a couple beaches. We cooked dinner twice (beautiful, large, well-appointed kitchen) and ate out on the amazing ocean-facing porch. Everything was in great shape (appliances, beds and furniture). Incredible open floor plan that easily accommodated our group. The pool was also a hit with our group. Parking was plentiful. All around great property. Would stay again undoubtedly. Thanks

More than I could have imagined

Honestly, this was absolutely the most fabulous VRBO I have ever stayed in. The pictures honestly don’t even do it justice. The highlight of the home is the incredible porch that spans the length of the home and is directly across the street from the ocean. We saw incredible sunsets and walked across the street to see sea turtles in the surf. The house had everything we needed and more. The way the house is laid out, allows for privacy for different groups, and the additional adjacent cottage was another bonus. There is a complementary pass to the local athletic club where we enjoyed yoga and gym equipment, and a pool that had a sand area for little ones. The house had of course its own pool, which was just one more thing to rave about. Want more? there’s a grill, beach towels, beach gear I could go on and on. One of the most fabulous things was our kids went hired a private chef Ginger from white Ginger catering to come on two different occasions and prepared us brunch and dinner. It was the most fabulous food I’ve ever had. She served us on the porch And cleaned up everything. If you’re looking for an amazing adventure do that. We honestly barely were inside and spent almost all of our time on the porch. This is a fabulous location and you won’t be sorry.
