About this property

The Wave Studio Currarong

Designed in conjuction with the main house to represent the curves of a wave, the Studio Apartment offers couples privacy within the self contained room. The studio apartment is separated from the main house by the garage and has its own private decked courtyard.

The studio includes one queen size bed and one single bed, a kitchenette and bathroom. The studio is equipped with quality furniture & fittings.

The kitchenette is equipped with a microwave oven, double hotplates, bar fridge, electric frypan, pots, pans, kettle, toaster and quality dinnerware and cooking utensils.

The Studio also comes with a dining setting that seats four people and a TV/DVD.

Bed linen and towels are provided.

On the decked private courtyard there is a 4 burner gas BBQ along with a 4 seating outdoor setting.

Children are allowed.

Unfortunately, we do not allow pets on the property, either inside the studio or in the yard.

Smoking is NOT permitted inside the studio.

We DO NOT accept ONE NIGHT BOOKINGS - minimum stay is TWO NIGHTS







Currarong

The village of Currarong offers an excellent local fish & chip shop/restaurant, general store and a local bowling club. You will find supermarkets a short drive away, in Callala and Culburra.

Currarong is in a unique position, tucked inside the northern headland of Jervis Bay and surrounded by bush and the ocean.

The water is generally calm, crystal clear and full of sea life, including the occasional whale.

Across the road from the house is Currarong Creek (a great place to swim at high tide) and Warrain Beach, which stretches some 14km to Culburra.

A short walk away is Abraham's Bosom Beach, a pristine beach surrounded by rock platforms and native vegetation. Abraham's Bosom is also the starting point for walking tracks on Beecroft Headland, with access to more beaches, a shipwreck and unusual rock formations.

If you don't mind a short drive, in less than 10 minutes you can be on one of the amazing, often deserted Jervis Bay beaches such as Honeymoon Bay, Long Beach or Cabbage Tree.

There are plenty of great fishing, swimming, surfing, diving & snorkeling, mountain bike rides and bush walking spots within a short walk of the house.

Currarong also boasts its brand new dual lane boat ramp.

Currarong also offers a skateboard ramp, a childrens playground and tennis courts.

Super easy process, great communication from the owner providing places to visit and very useful things to know about Currarong. Great location and easy walking to the beach. The studio was lovely and spacious, heaps of room for my son and I. Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Clean, comfortable studio unit located close to beach in a quiet street. Communication with owners was great and they provided useful information of the area/amenities. The town was a little light on for amenities for our liking, but on the whole, an enjoyable stay.

Enjoyed our stay here situated in a quiet neighbourhood and very close to the beach. Clean place and comfortable beds. Modern shower and toilet. Host allowed us to check in earlier which was a bonus. Phone reception could be patchy at times. Wifi would be a plus. Place highly recommended.

Lovely, comfortable gem in Currarong

I booked The Wave Studio Currarong to take my very elderly mum to the Currarong Art Trail. Access was easy, up a couple of steps to the front door from a nice little walled off deck area. Position is close by the Bowling Club with its award winning bistro. The studio is very clean, cosy and comfortable with everything that you could need provided for a short or long stay. Beautiful bedlinen and towels were also provided. We very much enjoyed our stay in The Wave Studio Currarong and would definitely recommend it to others.

Great presentation

From the moment we opened the sliding door the property beamed with a welcoming vibe. The small space is well set out with thought and care placed on the selection of each item. Great towels, lovely high quality bedding and everything you want is easy to find. Comfort and luxury. We will make it a priority to visit again.

The house is located to beaches so it was easy with the kids. Before arriving the property manager sent the details and also details where to get what and what is nearby. Which was very helpful
