Anchored Currarong - Luxurious Couples Retreat

After spending the past 2 years renovating, we are back as Anchored Currarong. We offer luxurious bespoke couples only, pet friendly accommodation in our welcoming & beautifully renovated home.

The devil is in the details... our sumptious welcome pack, character filled spaces & private outdoor fully enclosed freestanding tub have you covered & are a great start for your energising, relaxing & romantic break with us.

We are locals so we can also help you plan your perfect getaway or celebration. We can recommend in-house massages, platters & other services to help you get the most out of your stay.

We pride ourselves on presenting an immaculately clean house that is the backdrop to make holiday memories to last a lifetime. We like to have an open communication with our guests so are here anytime you need so feel free to contact us. Otherwise, we will leave you to it to enjoy our gorgeous private space.

Upon arrival, our welcome pack will be waiting for you which includes coffee for our in-house coffee machine. There will also be other goodies like milk, biscuits and wine ready to go. We also leave a small supply of pantry items in the cupboard and fridge to make your stay more enjoyable (we try to think of everything).

So once you check in, run yourselves a bath, pour a glass and take advantage of your down time right away ;). Once you are refreshed and relaxed there is plenty to explore locally. We have beautiful beaches and coastline all a short stroll from the cottage. Sunsets in Currarong are breathtaking and a must see.

We have so much to offer you simply wont want to leave. Hope to host you soon.

Wonderful break from the city grind

Anchored Currarong is well laid out for a relaxing getaway. Only a few minutes walk to beaches and bush trails, and the house itself has everything you need. Can't wait to get back

Lovely stay!

Fantastic weekend stay at Anchored. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable- the bath was heavenly! Relaxed beach house vibes and amenities were plentiful. Sandra was an amazing host and we hope to get back again soon.

Perfect little beach house.

My partner, myself and two dogs found the perfect little get away. The house was very comfortable and felt very “us”. We loved the outdoor bath & shower. Very easy walk to the beach. Sandra was very thorough with communication, and left some very welcome gifts for us. We will definitely be back.

South coast getaway

This cosy, clean & comfortable cottage provides everything you need for a south coast getaway. Sandra was incredibly helpful & communication was excellent. Currawong is a very quite little spot. Beaches are and short walks are beautiful.

Relaxing Hideaway

Anchored Currarong was a lovely weekend getaway. From the moment we walked in, we felt comfortable and relaxed. The decor was quirky and all worked together nicely to create a venue that felt both homey and slightly exotic. Of particular note were the wood-burning fireplace and the outdoor tub. Location was close to lots of beautiful sites and some excellent local food. Would definitely stay again when we are in the area.

South Coast Gem

We had a lovely stay for 3 nights. Very quiet area close to the beach. Round the corner is the Beecroft weapons range where on weekends it’s open to the public and has plenty of walks, sights and beaches to explore. We stayed with our dog, where Abrahams Bosom Reserve is a great spot to take them for walks. The place has everything you need, feels homely and very comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

What a glorious beach home in a stunning location. Sandra was extremely attentive without ever encroaching on our space. Everything we could have asked for was available. Will definitely be back for another stay!

Cosy and comfy

We had a lovely stay at Anchored Currarong. The location is wonderful, just a few minutes walk to the beach, and peaceful and quiet. We especially loved the outdoor bath, the excellent front doorstep shower to wash the sand off under (with hot water!) and the kitchen, which had everything we needed to do some cooking, plus pantry staples like oil and spuces. Thanks so much for pur thoroughly relaxing stay!

Autumn Beach Stay in Currarong

We were pleasantly surprised by this property. It had a real beach house feel but also reminded me of the trendy inner city townhouses I loved in my youth. Sandra was amazing and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. More than happy to highly rate this property!

The place for a perfect getaway!

From the first introductions to the owners through to arriving at our destination, everything was just perfect. Service was friendly and the stay pure bliss. The place was devine and made you feel relaxed as if it had always been your home away from home. Beach, nature and tranquillity at your door step, who wouldn't want to stay. Great stay at Anchored. Lots of " feel good " deco and inventive bath area. Everything was delightful in this house, we could easily have stayed all day in it and enjoy the fireplace. Great find. Would go back again.

Our short getaway.

Thank you for your little house – we have enjoyed our short stay in Currarong, and everything seems to have worked as your notes have suggested – all very helpful. We especially enjoyed our walks around the area – the beach and picnic areas as well as the tracks to the further away gems around the point. What a special place.
