Contemporary lakefront home on Lake Winnipesaukee. Enjoy three levels of lake living in this fully functional home with an open floor plan which includes all the amenities such as a large screen TV in the living room, a cozy fireplace, high speed internet with WIFI, and a washer and dryer. You can watch the loons and eagles from your large A-frame picture windows, the beautiful deck off the kitchen which overlooks the tranquil lake, or even while lounging by the water on the manicured lawn. Dock your boat at either of the two, 20-foot docks or enjoy a swim in the crystal clear waters with a sandy bottom.

This is a repeat stay for our family and everything was as fantastic as before! The Camp is so very well maintained, always clean and spacious. We absolutely love the location in a quiet and calm bay with the close proximity (by boat and/or car) to downtown Wolfeboro. We highly recommend this property and look forward to a return visit!

Perfect family celebration!

Fabulous location on Lake Winnipesaukee in Wolfeboro! We loved the deck and the dock. The slide was a big hit, even if the water was still cold. We enjoyed the fire pit, sunrise and sunset by the lake, and relaxing in the great room. It was the perfect place to celebrate our daughter’s graduation. We’d loved to visit again.

Lake Winnipesaukee Waterfront Cottage

The property was clean and beautiful. Great location on the lake - easy to rent a pontoon boat and tie it to the dock. The only issue we had was with the grill, which wasn’t working. Otherwise, it was a very pleasant stay.

Long weekend of fun!

A perfect escape, especially if you love the water and chilling by the fire with friends. As other reviewers said, perfect location, well equipped kitchen, dedicated host who didn’t mind me bugging her!! The moment we walked through the door and saw the beautiful picture window overlooking the beautiful lake we thought to ourselves the pictures did not do this home justice. Great family vacation!

First of all, the pictures don’t do it justice. It is more spacious than it appears! We had two families staying here and it was great. The water was perfect for our kids. It is very shallow to start, making it great for even my 2 year old. We loved hanging on the dock and we rented some boats etc. it was great!!

A place for the soul!

This home was beyond lovely! From sunrise to sunset, both of which can be seen from the property, this space on the lake was restful, calming, and 'sparked joy' for us. The hostess' welcome basket was a very nice extra, and the kitchen, which we used plenty, was very well stocked. If you are considering someplace both convenient (nicely close to market and village), and beautiful, choose this property.

Lovely 3 night stay

We were two couples…..had an enjoyable 3 night stay at this lovely lake home. So peaceful and quiet at this time of year. Nice waking up to the view of the lake. Lucked out with crystal clear blue sky September weather. Everything you could possibly need was provided. Host was easy to correspond with at all times. Hope we can return again someday.

Fall Getaway

My husband and I stayed here last year for a week and loved it. This year we stayed for two weeks. My son, daughter in-law and 18 month old grandson visited for several days. It was perfect. Plenty of space, beautiful views, but also quiet. Evelyn couldn’t have been any more helpful with any questions we had. Will come back a third time !

Fantastic foliage trip

We stayed at Jodi‘s property last year and had a beautiful time. So this year we decided to come with our two adult daughters. We had so much fun hiking in the area especially at Castle in the clouds, and getting gingerbread at the Yum Yum shop. We really loved the fire pit Lakeside and made smores. We went apple picking at devylder orchard, grabbed one of their pies, and make a big pot of chili in the kitchen and ate delicious pie! It was such a fun time and the house was beautiful on the lake… will definitely return again

This beautiful property was one of the very first owned in the area. My mom was born in 1942 and grew up enjoying Lake Winnipesaukee her entire life. Her father and his father-in-law built the original "camp" back in the mid to late 30's. When school was out for the summer, my mom and my Grandparents would pack up and leave Boston to head to Wolfeboro. When I was born, we traveled from Ohio to NH every summer to visit. The beauty and peacefulness brought me to NH for college where I spent my summers at "the camp" working as a lifeguard at Brewster Beach. My siblings love the area as much as I do and actually, my brother got married on the property back in 2009.
The local people are welcoming and exude an extreme love for home and all of the secrets the area holds. My grandfather always called it "God's Country" and we are truly blessed to be able to enjoy a piece of it every time we visit!

Why they chose this property

My great-grandparents found this piece of property back in the early 1900's. When my grandmother and grandfather were married, they took over the property and built a gorgeous little cottage which later became known as "the camp" to my mom and all of the grandchildren. I have been in love with this location my entire life. To this day, our first visit to town includes a trip to the Yum Yum Shop for homemade goodies and a delicious ice cream at Bailey's Bubble.
When my grandfather passed away, my mom moved up to "the camp" from Ohio. She decided to do an overhaul and tore the old house down and replaced it with the beautiful white and blue A-frame cottage it is today. My mom had always planned to move in to the house once she reached retirement age but, unfortunately, her time was cut very short when she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease shortly after she arrived. She peacefully passed away May of 2021.
While we still visit the house quite frequently, we have all decided that my mom would want as many people to share in the love of this property just as she did. We hope others can enjoy the peaceful, breathtaking views and experience all that the home and "The Oldest Summer Resort in America" have to offer. Memories that will last a lifetime!

What makes this property unique

From the smell of fresh pine trees and clean air, to the crystal clear waters that you can many times spot a small mouth bass swimming below, there really is nothing like it. Fill your days with water activities and nature hikes or just sit back, relax, and catch up on a good book while sitting on the dock, soaking up some sun.
We truly hope those who are able to appreciate the beauty and tranquility of the home will enjoy it as much as we do.
