Lazy Days is a delightful cottage with a beautiful garden to nourish your senses, a private backyard with an outdoor shower and the bonus of sunshine streaming through the living areas. Located within a short walk to the beach and cafe, and an easy walking distance to the heart of Umina Beach.
Enjoy a morning coffee to birdsong on the front porch, breathe jasmine and lavender, sunset drinks on the deck or daydream in the rocker. This property is perfect for the single traveller, couples or a small family looking for a beach holiday escape. Bus transport and cafe are within a few metres, a 5 minute stroll takes you to the stunning beach with surf club, and it is just a 5 minute drive to the town centre. Master bedroom has a queen bed and ensuite with shower, bedroom 2 has 2 single beds. A sofa bed is available for additional bedding if needed

Relaxing beachside stay

We had a great long weekend away with the dogs. Great location, easy access to beaches, cafes, shops and restaurants. Very clean and comfortable property with well equipped kitchen. Garden was securely fenced so could let the pups play.

Lazy Days

The property rated fine for all of the above but as a couple of foodies we were rather disappointed at the lack of kitchen utensils and basic everyday equipment. The new kitchen was great and the stove but some instruction for the induction cook top would have been helpful. Despite all of the above it was indeed a wonderful week and we cant blame Lazy Days for the weather!

Sore hips !!!

Overall it was a nice, neat, private home. The $750 bond is excessive. Also it was withdrawn not just held on card! The queen mattress in main bedroom is extremely uncomfortable. Old , lumpy. Both me and my wife had sore bad hips for the entire stay from the mattress.And took it home as well. Tried the single mattresses they were no better. I would recommend to family and friends. I liked the privacy and off street parking attress

Perfect, loved the accommodation, great communication with staff in regards to booking, pet friendly took our 2 dogs, easy walking distance to dog beach, close to everything and were able to catch up with a few friends easily.

We had a fabulous time at Lazy Days but our dogs had an even better time. They loved Umina Dog Friendly Beach and the property is very dog safe. The close proximity of The Cove was an added bonus.

Lovely beach cottage

An older cottage, nicely refurbished, with lovely enclosed garden and a short walk to the beach. It particularly suited us with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms for 2 couples. Also handy having an extra toilet in the laundry. We'll equipped, although a drier and gas BBQ would have been handy. Otherwise good quality appliances, knives, crockery etc. Just what we wanted for a lovely stay by the beach. A short drive into town for dinner and also a good range of restaurants available to deliver through Doordash.

Home away from home

I spent five weeks at Lazy Days in between moving houses and loved it. The location is great - walking distance to beach, shops, cafes, and bus outside the door. Everything you could possibly need or want is at your fingertips and it’s dog friendly too. Some of the highlights for me included being warmed by the sun streaming through all the living areas during the day, and enjoying the very private and pretty outdoor areas. Access to Netflix was an unexpected bonus too.

Delightful Bungalow

This was a modest but charming house, freshly renovated and upgraded. It was spotlessly clean, so applause for the cleaners. It had every convenience and was very comfortable. The gardens were nicely maintained and the outside deck at the back was great. I would highly recommend this house for a small family.

True Lazy Days

This cottage was as it was portrayed in it's advertising, clean and fresh both in style and presentation. As a pet friendly property it offered secure fencing, easy care appointments with a great deck area and polished timber flooring throughout. Two minor setbacks to our stay were experienced in the form of an extremely poorly timed activation of a watering system and poorly maintained lawns. The watering system came on at sunset soaking two members of our group who had been disposing of rubbish in the bins instead of activating in the early hours of the morning when nobody is likely to be within range. The comment in regard to the lawn maintenance was simply because it had not seen a lawn mower for some time and this resulted in weeds that had reached a height of approx. 300mm with seeds fully formed. The seeds were continually getting caught in the dog's fur which resulted in the need for continual monitoring and brushing to prevent transfer to the interior of the cottage. On the whole we all enjoyed our stay at "Lazy Days" and would not hesitate to visit again.

Lovely beach house...only 5 min walk to the water!

We had a lovely time at this property. It was neat and tidy with all the basic amenities and a great sized yard for our small dog. We loved walking to the beach each day in the afternoon and also walked into town which was a nice stroll. Definitely would recommend! Thanks for having us.
