Around Anglesea you can play golf or dine at the Anglesea Golf Club, which often has many kangaroos on the course. You can stroll by the river, go fishing or hire a paddle boat just around the corner.
Walk or ride through the network of pathways around Coogoorah Park and watch the kids enjoy the fabulous adventure playground. There’s easy access to a network of bike tracks, a skate park just across the bridge, and a mountain bike park if that’s your style.
Of course you can catch a 'Surf Coast' wave at the patrolled surf beach, enjoy the gentler Point Roadknight beach or wade in the shallows at the river’s mouth.
Anglesea is also a great base to explore the Great Ocean Road and other local towns like Aireys Inlet, Torquay and Lorne.
