Beautiful property, great views, convenient to everything, lovely place to stay and read, or base yourself for a tour of Tassies southern region - recommend “duckhole lake” walk (easy 1.5 hours).
Wonderful stay, great spot for a weekend getaway or to explore Huon Valley.

Wonderful holiday home
We had a great stay with even the cold and rain unable to dampen our spirits, the house was warm and cosy (and the fire pre-set ready to light!) with the wonderful view from the big windows to keep us entertained.
Response from VrboOwner on 21 March 2020
Hi Katrina, thank you for your kind words. Sorry you had to light the fire in summer but glad that didn't dampen your spirits. Do plan on coming back again and if you have any suggestions to improve the Quarry Hill experience do let me know. We will have complimentary wireless for guests as soon as the installation is completed in a couple of weeks. Cheers.

Such a stunningly beautiful house and views.Everything in the home is of an incredibly high standard and all your needs have been thought of. You will really feel well looked after when you stay here, from the beach equipment to the complimentary bottle of wine to the huge bookcase, and so much besides
We had the most amazing stay - we could not fault a thing. The house was so beautiful, everything was catered for and even fresh produce at hand. Beautiful views of bay and Bruny Island. Thank you.
Our family loved our time in the beautiful home. Nicola was amazing so accommodating, helpful and the home provided everything we could ever dream of. The views were magnificent.
Absolutely recommend this home for a beautiful family holiday ♥️
Thank you 🙏🏻a glorious memory for our family 💞
We had a wonderful 6 night stay at Quarry Hill Lookout. So much care and thought has been put into every aspect of this accommodation to ensure guests have all the comforts of home. Beautiful home to spend our New Year! Thank you Nicola!
Quarry Hill Lookout is luxurious accommodation with everything there you could possibly need. Fantastic views of the bay and home grown produce from the properties garden. Close proximity to cafe, IGA and a stones throw from the Dover RSL for a great meal. Thank you Nicola for giving us the opportunity to stay ☺️
This property is truly luxurious... everything you could want is provided. We have stayed at some wonderful places and this has to be amongst the best we have had the opportunity to experience
Incredible house, saw this listing online and loved it.
When we arrived it did not disappoint. The views from every room are amazing.
Nicolas attention to detail and her thoughtfulness was greatly appreciated.
I would not hesitate to stay here again.
The hasting caves just down the road are also a must, one of the best we have seen.
A wonderful place to stay and everything you could think of was provided. Loved the Milo, chocolate and wine! The only improvement was the description in relation the 4th bedroom in what was advertised as the library. We did not realise it was not in its own room, but part of the lounge upstairs.
This was a beautifully appointed property with stunning views. Waking up to the sunrise from bed was an amazing start to the day. Nicola has thought of everything with so many inclusions within the property. We were two families staying, and there was plenty of room with everyone able to relax in their own space. Highly recommend this stunning house.
Lovely funional house with great views from many windows

About the host

Hello and thank you for taking the time to read my profile.
I am a primary school teacher with a love for knowledge and sharing. My family own the local organic apple and cherry orchard in Dover, so my daughter and I enjoy visiting the area as much as we can.
Just to let you know, I prefer to give my guests peace and privacy, however if you need any help please contact me on my mobile. If I am not available I can have someone else close by come and help you.
I provide an informative guest book at the property which outlines information about some of my favourite places to dine locally and places to visit. There are also books on local Tasmanian walks, fauna and flora.
Have a great time planning your next holiday or stay and if I can help in any way please just ask!
