We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Windflowers. It was very clean and tidy and had everything we needed for our stay. We appreciated the clear communication from our hosts and the thoughtful provisions (eggs, milk, bread etc). The view from the living space and deck was wonderful and relaxing.
By far the nicest place we stayed during our 3 week stay in Tasmania. Beautiful, well appointed cottage central to everything in the Huon Valley. Excellent host. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

Thanks Robert & Rita for your kind words. Hope you enjoy your travels and that you may return. Bruce & Leonie
Photos didn’t do full justice to this home and surrounding land. Great views. Well appointed and dogs also had the best time in this large and safely fenced property.
A beautifully appointed and equipped holiday home. The views across the rolling hills, waterways with distant mountain range were amazing. Hosts were welcoming and breakfast provisions generous. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Thanks Ruth,
We enjoy sharing the environment in which we are so fortunate to live, particularly with appreciative guests. Hope you may return soon.
Best Wishes Bruce & Leonie.
Very enjoyable, we will be back. We have one very reactive dog so had to keep her on a lead and away from the hairy cows and chickens, there’s a lot of well fenced yard to disappear in if you’re a naughty dog! The house was perfect, very warm and the views are unbeatable. Also loved that Leonie and Bruce had provided breakfast for us
We had a great few days with our family. The property is peaceful with breath taking views. Plenty of room inside and out, we even took the family dog along.
Bruce and Leonie were accomodating with anything we needed.
We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at Windflowers!
Beautiful outlook from a very comfortable home.
Owners very nice and helpful with eateries in the area.
We enjoyed feeding the chickens with our scrapes before we left.
We would recommend Windflowers Farm for a lovely relaxing stay.
We loved our stay and would stay again when in this area
Bruce and Leonie were great in providing more than anything we could have needed during our stay. They were easy to reach and responded quickly on the couple of small things we reached out about. I really enjoyed the peaceful property with stunning sunsets and plenty of farm critters and wildlife to enjoy!
Was a lovely house to stay in and relax due to the wintry weather. Great breakfast supplied and the cheese and bikkies was a lovely touch. Our dog also loved the house.,especually the large windows so she could see all that was going on outside .
What a jewel of a property nestled amongst the hills of southern Tasmania! The property had everything we needed including an abundance of breakfast provisions. The property was in driving distance to local Picturesque local towns. Lunch at the Kiln is a must!
Wildflowers is a darling little house in the middle of a cottage garden, with grape vines and olive trees just outside the carefully trimmed hedges. Perfect place for sitting and soaking up the mountain and river scenery. (Highland cattle included in the scenery.)
The house is equipped with all the things you need to cook a hearty dinner and then to relax by the fire.
We needed somewhere to stay with our 3 dogs for a couple of nights before we could move into our new home. Well we really hit the jackpot with Windflowers! Our dogs were secure and welcome. The house is cosy and warm and the view from the living area is magnificent as are the stunning gardens. We were very comfortable with everything we needed including bacon, eggs and OJ in the fridge. Thank you Leonie and Bruce.
Quiet, comfortable, great garden and view and pet friendly!
Lovely house and property, quiet, private, fully fenced and dog friendly. The house was clean, comfortable, had everything we needed for a self contained stay and a wonderful view from the front porch. There is a gravel road to the property itself and no tumble dryer, but the positives outweighed any negatives from that. The only real issue we encountered was that the WiFi was very unreliable and kept dropping out, which was rather annoying. Mobile connectivity was a bit patchy as well. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay and it was fabulous to be able to have our dogs with us.
The cottage was charming and comfortable. We lit the combustion fire every night. Very quiet, relaxing and amazing views. Leonie & Bruce were wonderful, allowing our group to check in early due to the heavy rain which had hampered our day of sightseeing. Leonie came around later with supplies for breakfast and fresh fruit. The surrounding countryside was great to drive through and we spent a day at Bruny Island, the ferry being an easy drive. Both Cygnet and Huonville were close enough to get all supplies we needed during our stay.

Liked: Location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Check-in, communication
Peaceful location
The property is beautiful. However the hostess walks into the property without knocking , looks over the contents of our kitchen items, then begins in a lengthy lecture of her opinions on world affairs that we did not invite. It would be more appropriate to leave a flyer on the table and if people want to invite a discussion ...so be it.

Oh dear, what an interesting interpretation of events.
As you were driving up to the cottage I was ducking out to the local shops as I'd realised I didn't have enough eggs for your stay. A large group had left that morning so it had been a busy morning getting the cottage ready for new guests.
Our cars stopped along side one another on the driveway, I quickly confirmed that you were at the right place, told you the cottage was open and that I would be back shortly to greet properly.
When I came back, my husband was chatting with the men at the backdoor (country entrance) I asked if it was OK to pop the eggs into the fridge door compartment. The two ladies were inside so I mentioned again that I had eggs for the fridge compartment.
I did talk world affairs but thought it was a mutual conversation as all three other guests were friendly and responsive, all three chatted back and the other lady showed interest in a book I mentioned, one of the best selling books in the world, so I quickly popped that down later.
We leave a booklet of information for guests to peruse and most people appreciate that we take the time to greet our guests, answer any questions and let them know we are nearby if there are any problems.
The best, beautiful happy place to stay and safest for our pets. We love it there!!
