Local area and beaches

There are 2 villas on this beautifully quiet 4 acre property. They look out onto farmland and are surrounded by vegetation local to the area. A resident male koala regularly puts in an appearance along with a myriad of birds. The inlet is accessible by road or a 1.5km walking/riding track. The inlet is a fantastic place to spend the day either fishing, swimming, boating or sailboarding providing car access onto the beach. The surf beach access track is approximately a 1km walk which will give access to the quiet unmanned part of the Sandy Point surf beach . A further 0.5kms will take you to the main Sandy Point Beach and Sandy Point Surf Lifesaving Club. The Sandy Point beach is absolutely stunning and a great place for a family day out swimming, surfing and boogy boarding or just for lazing around on the beach. Opposite the main beach is the General Store, Café, Mini Golf and Tennis Courts. Wilsons Promontory is a 40 minute drive and has stunning beaches, walks and wildlife. Definitely a great day trip and not to be missed

General Information:

FOOD: Sandy Point has a General Store which has a supply of most basic goods but at prices greater than those you will see in Melbourne. Leongatha has a Safeways, Aldi and IGA whilst Foster has a Foodworks and IGA. Hours of operation are reduced in the country so make sure that you bring all that you need for breakfast etc if you are arriving late at night. Sandy Point has a takeaway that is open most weekends, Fish Creek has the pub, KO's and the Gecko Gallery (yummy) which all serve good food and Foster has a pub, Indian restaurant and amazing food at The Foster Golf Club. The new Promontory Restaurant and Winery just out of Foster has stunning food and stunning views !!! Just make sure that you call ahead to all restaurants to ensure that they are firstly open and secondly that they are not full if during peak holiday season.

FUEL: Korumburra is the nearest town that has a 24 hour servo. Leongatha has 2 servos, Foster has 2 servos and the Sandy Point General Store has fuel as well.
