Our non-smoking second floor unit has the best southern view at Coral Surf. It will make you want to stop everything you are doing to sit and take in the spectacular panoramic view of the Atlantic ocean from our open uncovered private balcony. Our completely renovated unit includes brand new kitchen and 2 full baths. The kitchen has everything you will need, two kinds of coffee makers, blender, toaster and all your dining essentials. The 2 bedrooms and open living room with pullout sofa bed come with smart televisions and is spacious enough to accommodate 6 guests. Our unit also has its own private laundry with full size washer and dryer with iron and ironing board. Our unit has now been celebrated with over 150 5 star reviews! You will be walking distance to Carolina Beach's beautiful boardwalk, shops, restaurants and the beautiful Lake Park where there is a walking path and playground. Coral Surf has it's own private beach access and swimming pool literally outside the front door. The pool season runs from some time in May to sometime in October. For your convenience all linens are included with extra sheets and beach towels. Our unit also provides all the essentials like paper towels, toilet paper, napkins, garbage bags, laundry soap, dryer sheets, dishwasher tablets, and hair dryers. There are beach chairs, and beach toys provided in your own private ground floor storage closet with room for your own beach, golf and fishing items. Designated parking for 1-2 CARS ( please check last photo for parking spots ). No pets, no elevator, not handicap accessible and absolutely No Smoking, Vaping or grilling anywhere on the premises, fines will be implemented per incident. If someone needs to smoke or Vape they will have to go to the beach or the street. Golf carts, scooters, bikes and any other chargeable electric devices are not allowed to be charged at Coral Surf unit E2. You may have an electric golf cart, however, must be charged off premises. At the end of the photo gallery please read HOA rules and check parking arrangement before booking your stay.

This unit was clean and the location was great. Easy access to the beach, an easy walk to the Boardwalk and restaurants. All our supply needs were met. Easy and timely communication with the owners. Nice sunrise and sunsets.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hogan condo! The view was spectacular and sitting on the balcony everyday was relaxing and enjoyable during our stay! Our stay at Hogan's Place was perfect! The views, location, cleanliness and comforts of this home were exceptional! Nice quaint property!

This place was perfect for our business trip. It was nice to basically have 2 master suites. A bedroom and a private bath for both of us was great! The view of the ocean was spectacular!

The BEST Getaway

We loved this place. The location (right on the beach - and an end-unit!), the warm hospitality of TJ and Debbie (even though we are Washington fans and they are Giants fans!! LOL), and the well-stocked and homey decor - this place was a TOUCHDOWN for our one night away to head to the aquarium. Highly recommend!!

Beautiful condo so tastefully decorated with all the amenities necessary for a comfortable vacation. Balcony with beach view is outstanding with almost no need to go to the shore and get sandy. Will definitely go on our list for a return visit.

The listing and photos are spot on. Hogan’s Place is clean and has everything we needed. Being a top, end unit on the water means spectacular views from inside and the balcony deck. Host is friendly and good communicator. The location is great with easy access to downtown Wilmington, Airlie Gardens, Carolina Beach Boardwalk and more. We’ll be back!

Even Nicer Than Expected

The property was clean, extremely well-furnished, and in a great location; plus, the owners were extremely helpful and friendly. I was particularly impressed with the detail of the interior decoration. Obviously, a lot of thought has gone into all sorts of beach-related wall hangings and fun do-dahs throughout the condo.

Homey at the beach

Hogan’s Place is homey, comfortable, and immaculate. The colors and decor are inviting. Inside is everything you need, with beach chairs and toys as well. The beach is right off the deck. Wake up for coffee on the deck while the sun rises. This wasnt just a place to stay. It was one of the things that made our vacation memorable.

Exactly what we needed!

The property was clean, tastefully decorated, and stocked with extras to help during our stay. The owner was very kind and a great person to meet! We did not have any issues during our stay, but if we had they would have been handled right away. The view of the beach and ocean were simply breathtaking! Watching the sunrise on the balcony was the best way to start the day. We can’t wait to come back for another visit!!

We are regulars at Carolina beach. Have stayed at many properties , ones that are bigger and newer, but this was our favorite place to stay! Tim hogan and his wife treated us like family. They were very nice and had amazing communication . The condo was immaculate and everything inside was new and clean . Everything we needed was there. Will definitely be staying here again in the future ! Amazing view of the ocean off of a large balcony . Very cozy and homey feeling. Thank you Tim!

Feels like home!

It's always difficult finding a place to stay on the beach that is both affordable and comfortable. However, I am not exaggerating when I say that this place feels like home. The Hogan's did an amazing job opening up their beautiful home and providing all the essentials needed to stay comfortably. I had no problem cooking, cleaning my clothes, using the bathroom, etc. everything was provided and was so clean! I'm a stickler about cleanliness and I'm always nervous staying in a place that's not my home but the condo was so incredibly clean that I could just relax. Also, we had one rainy day and we used the board games provided to keep us busy. With the beach access and the amenities provided, we didn't have to leave the place for entertainment during the whole 4 days we were there. I can honestly say that the Hogan's home made our vacation feel like a dream come true!

The Hogan's have been a part of the Coral Surf family for over nearly forty years. First used as a vacation spot for weekly vacations for several years in the 1980's, and now after falling in love with the area, the Hogan's are full time residents of Wilmington.

Why they chose this property

One of the many benefits of staying in Coral Surf is the fact that being located on the southern part of the island allows for a less congested more relaxing stay compared to the seemingly narrow confines of the northern end. Also, Coral Surf has only 13 units, compared to some of the other bigger Condominiums on Carolina Beach, the whole atmosphere is welcoming and quieter and feels like you are vacationing in your own private resort.

What makes this property unique

The second floor unit is normally the most popular, you have a great view of the beach and only have two flights of stairs. Most second floor units usually have a unit above them on the third floor, our unit at Coral Surf, however, is very unique in that there is no unit above. This allows for the best of all worlds, a great view, only two flights of stairs, and maybe the best of all, peace and quiet because there is no unit above to cause annoying noise.
