Our non-smoking second floor unit has the best southern view at Coral Surf. It will make you want to stop everything you are doing to sit and take in the spectacular panoramic view of the Atlantic ocean from our open uncovered private balcony. Our completely renovated unit includes brand new kitchen and 2 full baths. The kitchen has everything you will need, two kinds of coffee makers, blender, toaster and all your dining essentials. The 2 bedrooms and open living room with pullout sofa bed come with smart televisions and is spacious enough to accommodate 6 guests. Our unit also has its own private laundry with full size washer and dryer with iron and ironing board. Our unit has now been celebrated with over 100 5 star reviews! You will be walking distance to Carolina Beach's beautiful boardwalk, shops, restaurants and the beautiful Lake Park where there is a walking path and paddle boat rides. Coral Surf has it's own private beach access and swimming pool literally outside the front door. The pool season runs from some time in May to sometime in October. For your convenience all linens are included with extra sheets and beach towels. Our unit also provides all the essentials like paper towels, toilet paper, napkins, garbage bags, laundry soap, dryer sheets, dishwasher tablets, and hair dryers. There are beach chairs, and beach toys provided in your own private ground floor storage closet with room for your own beach, golf and fishing items. Designated parking for 1-2 CARS ( please check last photo for parking spots ). No pets, no elevator, not handicap accessible and absolutely No Smoking, Vaping or grilling anywhere on the premises, fines will be implemented per incident. If someone needs to smoke or Vape they will have to go to the beach or the street. Golf carts, scooters, bikes and any other chargeable electric devices are not allowed to be charged at Coral Surf unit E2. You may have an electric golf cart, however, must be charged off premises. Super Nice!

The listing was detailed and accurate and the real deal was even better! For our time at Hogan's Place, the weather was beautiful, and the beach and neighborhood were peaceful. Sitting in the living room seemed just like an extension of the deck - just as pictured! The owners clean the unit themselves, and we couldn't have asked for it to be any better. They reached out before check-in, and continued to make themselves available for any questions or problems. We were on a sisters' trip so separate bedrooms, queen beds, and 2 full bathrooms were ideal. Thank you for "sharing" your piece (and peace) of Carolina Beach with us!

Fabulous stay at this beautiful, clean, well equipped beach house on the ocean!

Our stay at Hogan's Place was perfect! The views, location, cleanliness and comforts of this home were exceptional! We enjoyed walking and relaxing on the beach and it was close to shops and restaurants. Our hosts were great and communicated everything clearly. It was quite a memorable vacation and we look forward to returning again!

The BEST Getaway

We loved this place. The location (right on the beach - and an end-unit!), the warm hospitality of TJ and Debbie (even though we are Washington fans and they are Giants fans!! LOL), and the well-stocked and homey decor - this place was a TOUCHDOWN for our one night away to head to the aquarium. Highly recommend!!

This place was perfect for our business trip. It was nice to basically have 2 master suites. A bedroom and a private bath for both of us was great! The view of the ocean was spectacular!

A Slice of Heaven

Two sisters of a seasoned age spent a weekend in October at Carolina Beach and were very fortunate to do so at Hogan’s Place. The Hogans are gracious hosts, meeting us when we arrived and giving us a quick tour of their condo. It is everything as listed on VRBO and then some - clever beach theme throughout, well-stocked kitchen, comfortable furnishings and beds, and even a welcome basket! The deck has an expansive view of the ocean, as the condo is an end unit, and the sunrises are simply amazing. Carolina Beach is an old school beach town - restaurants and shopping within walking distance of the condo, as well as a boardwalk a short drive away. We had a weekend we will long remember! A big thanks to the Logans for sharing this bit of heaven on earth with us - we so enjoyed meeting you!

Great Stay at Hogan's Place

This oceanfront condo is situated on a quiet one-way street and was perfect for my friend and me. Most 2BR condos do not have two queen beds (one BR is usually 2 twins) - so it was great to each have an adult bed and our own bathrooms. The place was very clean and our communication with Tim was great. Highly recommend this condo!

We enjoyed our stay. The location was great and view was beautiful. The condo had everything you needed and a few extra touches. The bed in the master bedroom was a little uncomfortable, but i know that can be subjective. Overall a great spot!!!

Great Family Vacation

We couldn’t have asked for a better spot! We unfortunately ran into rain the entire trip but the coziness and views from the condo made up for it and we still had a great time. Plenty of room, nice kitchen, even great for a 3 month old. We will be back!

Wonderful spot

Very enjoyable stay. We were welcomed by owner, shown the place, and enjoyed a very relaxing week stay with all amenities we needed. The views from the place are the best, the place was very clean, bright and welcoming. The beach wasn’t too busy, and just simply the best of what we wanted for an east coast beach vacation. Restaurants and grocery stores easily accessible in the area.

Best Beach Vacation

Hogan’s place was the absolute BEST spot for a relaxing beach vacation! The deck has the perfect view of the ocean, the beach is a few short steps away, and the space was clean and really well decorated!!! My friend and I came for a getaway to celebrate her birthday and we loved every minute of our stay! Tim was an amazing host and super helpful, we were within walking distance of everything you could want/need. We are looking forward to returning next year!! I highly recommend this spot for your Carolina Beach vacation!!

Carolina Beach Great Location

We enjoyed our Carolina Beach trip. This section of Carolina Beach was overall above average based on previous stays on Carolina Beach. We were impressed with the communication and rapid replies to emails and texts by the owner, Tim. Tim met us at the property and walked us through the condo. They provided lots of linens, towels, TP, paper towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, and a locked closet on the ground floor of the building to store our personal beach items. It is apparent that the owners love their property. The condo has a lovely beachy decor. The living room and bedrooms are roomy. The photos do not clearly show that the deck is not covered. The parking is tight. Anything other than 2 compact vehicles leave the backend of the 2nd vehicle slightly on the road. The road is one way and not particularly busy so it wasn't a huge issue. Rankings only allow visitors to evaluate at whole numbers-overall the rating is considered a 4.5-4.75.

The Hogan's have been a part of the Coral Surf family for over nearly forty years. First used as a vacation spot for weekly vacations for several years in the 1980's, and now after falling in love with the area, the Hogan's are full time residents of Wilmington.

Why they chose this property

One of the many benefits of staying in Coral Surf is the fact that being located on the southern part of the island allows for a less congested more relaxing stay compared to the seemingly narrow confines of the northern end. Also, Coral Surf has only 13 units, compared to some of the other bigger Condominiums on Carolina Beach, the whole atmosphere is welcoming and quieter and feels like you are vacationing in your own private resort.

What makes this property unique

The second floor unit is normally the most popular, you have a great view of the beach and only have two flights of stairs. Most second floor units usually have a unit above them on the third floor, our unit at Coral Surf, however, is very unique in that there is no unit above. This allows for the best of all worlds, a great view, only two flights of stairs, and maybe the best of all, peace and quiet because there is no unit above to cause annoying noise.
